It'll be close, if I HAD to choose between the 2, I'd pick Jun. I think she has the slight edge (just because she's pissed less people off), though I do think Ali played the game more strategically than Jun.

From what I remember from BB3, the jury was going to give the money to Danielle, but when they saw what she said about people in the Diary Room they changed their minds and gave it to Lisa. So, although Ali may have felt what she said, she should have not said it. Like she mentioned those were fake tears she was crying when Erica left. |
Nathan was totally sporting the Pi Beta Phi shirt today.
I can't wait to see who wins this one - I hope it's Jun. |
blech, friday was like watching reruns! i almost hope alison wins, as she played the best game.

I think Ali's going to win. Jun had a chance, but that question about her talking smack about a lot of people came back and bit her in the azz.
|
Well Ali lost I guess I am happy about that, even though Jun didn't deserve it either but Jun is slightly better than Ali.
|
I'm glad Jun won. It would have been the same outcome if it were Ali and Robert in the final 2
|
I'm disappointed that Jun won but, still, Ali got 50K and that's nothing to sneeze at :)

The better of two.....
I'm glad Jun won too. I thought it was interesting that during the voting all the jurors expressed the same feelings about both of them. Hopefully in the end Ali and Jun realized that it is one thing to 'play the game', but you don't have to say nasty things about people in the game.

Lesser of two evils, I suppose.

Man, could you cut the tension in that joint with a knife though or WHAT!?! When the evicted houseguests walked back in the house, it was ridiculous. It was like, NOBODY was friends. I have to say that Michelle was by far, the most ridiculous of the crew, saying David isn't welcome at her house b/c of his fling with Amanda. HELLO, THEY ARE ADULTS, and he's not your boyfriend anymore!! I was a little surprised that Nate voted for Ali, and that Erika voted for Jun, but the outcome was what I expected. So who thinks the mantroll and the midget will end up together? :) That Dana needs to let go...anger management hon!!
Overall, great season, and can't wait for next summer now!! |
I missed the first 20 minutes...I know they showed Jee a clip of Erika's racial remarks. Did they finally address Allison and Jun's racial and innapropriate remarks about Robert and his daughter?

I thought Ali was going to win just going by what the jury was saying to each other and when they were deciding in the diary room... but of course they set it up to be a surprise. I still thought Ali deserved to win more just because she did play with guts. But Jack and a few others said Jun played the smartest game.
I thought it was really hypocritical of Erika to continually say that Jun doesn't deserve to win because of all the personal attacks she's made and then they show Erika's personal attack/racial slur on Jee. And I was very surprised Erika, Robert, and Justin voted for Jun. It was so weird when Jun won, no one said anything and Jun had a very uncharacteristic reaction to her win. |

I'm so sad that I just found this thread... oh well next summer I will look.. and no matter what anyone else says Ali played the game and should have won... and I don't think it was very fair to show the jury those clips because they made their choice based on that and not on who played the better game.
If only Ali had known to just keep her mouth shut... oh well.... |

Actually, the jury only got to see all of the shows after they voted. The jury was only shown nomination ceremonies, HOH competitions, and veto ceremonies. |
I know... that is what sucks... because I can see the camera person asking questions and egging her on to speak that way and I think she does that in frustration. Oh well... next year.
ETA: They also saw the daily journal times they had to give. Ali won the games, got the people to go along with her, and used the veto three times. Jun only one one hoh and maybe one veto... she never kicked anyone out (except her EX). |

1) making it all the way through to the finals 2) winning the jury vote Ali tried so hard to win the first part that she completely disregarded the second part. Yes, Ali did win a handful of competitions but she stayed in the game with false promises and making out with half the guys. Jun, however, was a sneak. Although I think her name-calling and snide comments make her a terrible person, she stayed in the game by being sly and staying under the radar. She played pretty smart...that is why she deserved to win. |
