I also failed to mention how awkward it was seeing Tyler kissin' up on women. That was hard for my eyes.

Hard yet funny. He was so awkward looking trying to kiss her cheek and her neck. Not convincing at all.

I doubt if any of his films are nominated for an Oscar. He doesn't allow the critics to view the film before it is released. Tyler is doing things, Tyler's way. I guess like Spike did back in the 80s.

it looked unnatural, or at the very least it was very clear that he was uncomfortable kissing her.

i think if he's going to continue to be in his movies (not as madea), he should take some acting classes or something so he's at least more comfortable in his skin in front of the camera.

Okay everybody...in the short period of time I have been a GCer...I have really grown to love y'all so I gotta share something....I saw Why Did I Get Married yesterday and I REEEEEEALLY got grossed out when I saw Tyler kissing on somebody....lol...I mean I really did...I don't know why though...maybe b/c I am used to seeing him as Madea but it just didn't look right....okay....that's all:D.

This movie does drain you because I know when Jill was sitting with her girls talking about how she thought God forgot about her, I felt those words and cried right along with her. It was very cathartic for me.

Take some acting lessons indeed.

^^Just got back! It was definitely better the first time. But that won't stop me from seeing it again next week--it's worth it just to hear Jill say, "Stay away from the wine bottles, okay?" :D

I saw it yesterday and I talked about the movie allllll day at work then when I got off of work and turned on my radio it was Mad Issues Monday on Micheal Baisden Show. The topic was mistresses:mad: (some of them were pleading thier case for being the other woman) soooooo.....that gave me more fuel to talk about the movie.

It was great:D!! Now I don't have to avoid this thread:).

One of the best movies I've seen all year. I would actually pay to see it again. :D :D

LOL, nah I think it'll be a better plot with a woman played by Angie being the main character instead of Brown. It doesn't look better than past movies, but I still look forward to it....with apprehension. ;)

I just went to a screening of the movie yesterday and it is a good movie. Like all his films you will laugh and cry. I had the opportunity to be in the studio audience for the TP show that the cast will be featured on. It's suppose to be on BET but I don't know the airing date. So, go out and support the film...

^^^I actually can't wait to see the movie. My chapter Sorors and I are going to his new play that will be here in March called the Marriage Counselor---I am really looking forward to that. I have only seen one of his plays live (Madea Goes To Jail) and it was a trip actually being there and seeing it live.

And, I must add that these last few episodes of House of Payne have been tripping me out. Its getting a lot better to me...especially when Jasmine was immitating everyone and put that pillow under her shirt acting like Curtis...that girl is too grown...lol...

I can't wait to see that play either!! I would say tell me all about it but I don't want to spoil it..LOLOL! Yes, Tyler is a fool...LOLOL! He keeps me laughing! Although he keps us in stiches he also tells how good God can be if your spirit is open. Under all that laughing are great messages if you can hear them.

I have really tried to give the show a chance. I DVR and watch, but it gets worse as the weeks go on. :( Tell me why don't they discipline the son?? Wrecking the motorcycle, shooting a gun, & i think he did something else!!
