In Facebook, click on settings on the top right of the page. Then Application Settings. Turn off any applications you don't want, such as Sorority Life.

I went through the list on the forum and added all the A names before running out of invited. Tomorrow, I'm starting on the B's & C's. I'm tired of getting my ass kicked and I'm a level 59 with 70 sisters. Boo!

I'm now on Level 45 (facebook). I hit the jackpot! I'm not even sure how many new sisters I gained today, but I'm at 81 whereas I was in the 40s yesterday IIRC.

I currently have 41 people on a waiting list to be added. Every time someone attacks me, I leave a message on her (his?) whiteboard to add me. Works like a charm!

I pimped myself out and am now at 93 sisters and counting. I'm at Level 61. I'll be adding more today but I realized I have to buy some outfits b/c I'm getting lots of sisters but might not have enough clothes to dress them for fights.

So question...kind of a dumb question lol But anyways, I have a yacht...do you think it's worth selling? I just noticed that it doesn't give you charm or popularity, so it's not like it helps when fighting. But I don't know, I just like having the yacht, lol I don't exactly need money, I have 1.5 mil in the bank right now, but I am considering changing jobs to Entertainment Columnist, and training is $1 mil.

Should I sell it?

The benefit gala for inner city kids will give you a boatload of cash (pun intended :p ) and influence. That's the only thing I've seen that requires a yacht (but then again I'm only level 24). It carries no charm or popularity, and its upkeep is $1K. So you might want to do a benefit gala or two and then dump the yacht.

Okay, I sold it. It was worth it cause I changed jobs and bought some things that will give me more points in fighting.

Are you on Facebook or MySpace? (I can't find the list in this thread that lists everyone, and yes I'm being that lazy.) I only add people I don't know in person on my MySpace account. Although I love GC dearly, I still am just wary about friending people on Facebook who I don't know in real life. I don't mind on MS cause 1) my real MS account doesn't have anything on it anymore (beside my pic and a pretty background) and 2) I did end up making that special MS account just for Sorority Life.

Nope, I'm on Facebook. Anyone I friend for Sorority Life goes on a list, and that list is excepted from being able to view most of my personal information. Not that I've put much personal info on FB.

In two days I've grown my house from 15 to 80. If only NPC recruitment were this easy...

Really, this is a game and you have a choice to offend me in real life....there IS a difference. I just want you to be my sister in this game. Is that so much to ask??? Do you act like this to everyone in your life? I believe so and will pray for you.

First off...please don't assume how I act in my daily life from a game on the internet. If you honestly think I go around "attacking" people for money is real life you are sorely mistaken. This is a game and if you don't bank your money people, not just me, will take advantage of that. If someone "attacking" you in a game on facebook offends you in real life, then maybe it is time to step away from the computer. Good day.

I still cannot believe that some people do not know the difference between reality and a game world. A facebook game offended her in real life. It isn't my fault I got $70k each hit from her...lol. She does need to step away from the keyboard. Maybe go on a walk or something.

OMG, I know! I haven't gotten any comments like that (although I'm sure I will now, just cause I said that), but I don't understand how people don't get the concept of the bank. Oh well, their loss.

I've heard from some of the people in my "house" that FB is no longer allowing them to add ppl on facebook

Same thing happened to me, BetteDavisEyes. FB urges you to friend, friend, friend, but friend too many people and it complains! Just stop friending people for a day or so and you'll be ok.

you don't have to....but if you want to get a larger house (and most of the people on your friends list don't play) then you can add randoms.

My friend and I like to talk about music while IMing and often send each other YouTube links. So we were chatting on FB and pasting YouTube links to each other for a couple hours on end, listening to the music, chatting about it, etc. He ended up getting a message that he was spamming and if he didn't stop, he could lose his chat privileges! We got a laugh out of that one and moved to Yahoo...lol.

One of my friends got her Chat disabled a few months ago. It was ridiculous...

I don't play much these days... I'm sure people attacking me are getting huge payouts!

Also, you can remove the randoms from your friend list, and they'll still be considered part of your house! I tend to wait 2 - 3 days before deleting randoms so that gives them time to respond to my invite.

People are getting ridiculous with the have your avatar wear black and don't attack today because some woman, who may or may not have played sorority life, was killed by her husband. I am truly sorry that this woman was killed, but acting like crazy, petty bitches to people who don't go along with your stupid "protest" is ridiculous. Get off your ass and actually do something to help prevent it instead of being bitchy and idiotic.

The fact that people actually have said that they don't know how people who attack today can sleep at night is amazing.

I sleep just fine, thanks. That's because I actually do something for the cause in real life (i.e. representing victims for free in obtaining protection from abuse orders).

Yea i think that stuff is weird. I haven't heard about that story. A couple of months ago there was some player that supposedly died of cancer? They were asking everyone to vote for this player to make it on the Catwalk. Then there was a huge uproar that the whole thing was a hoax.

Just say yes and they'll all be in your house. (Well, you might have to click a link that says "accept all" or something like that.)
