Damn you, Krispy Kreme, for expanding too rapidly and closing down all Houston stores!

since I work next to a DD, I will have to go with them.

I like KK donuts better, but since I am a coffee fanatic...

Today is the first day of summer vacation for my kids. I just told my brand new senior that today is free Krispy Kreme day and showed him the link. He asked me "what are we still doing here?" and raced upstairs to knock his brother (a brand new junior) out of bed.

Now I know how to get them out of bed! :D

Someone brought them in to the office today. There was great rejoicing!

I have a big dance rehearsal that's going to last over 3 hours....i'm planning on going out of my way just to get KK donuts for those down times!!

I personally think DD tastes really gross, not good at all. I think KK is delicious.

Best coffee, they actually have a variety of donuts, and I don't feel like I'm going to die of a sugar overdose after eating one like I do with Krispy Kreme.

Now...if I have to choose between Krispy and Dunkin, I'm going with Dunkin. Krispy Kreme's are way too sweet for me!

If any of you are ever in Chillicothe, OH, look up New System Bakery. The absolute best donuts I have ever had in my life. Ten times better than any other local bakery I've ever tried, and twenty times better than any of the chains.

We don't have DD here, and we only got KK about 10 years ago. I really don't see what the big deal is about either of them, except KK glazed are good when they're hot.

I grew up with Winchell's...anyone else?

The local fav here is Top Pot donuts...they are YUMM-O!

I do love Tim's donuts, and we're getting a combo Timmy's/Coldstone in my little Ohio town in a few months! So excited about that. But I still love Krispy Kreme the most.
