Victorya and Elisa showed collections at Fashion Week. Al Christian was interviewed about the Na.be show (Victorya) with very positive comments.

That strange Malan from last season also had a collection.

The spoilers are out. The finalists of Project runway showed their collections TODAY at Fashion Week. And the designers were:

All of the top five showed their collections

Can't wait to see the show!

The Guest Judge for the finals is...........................

I wonder if she will smile. Nah....why change anything

I really don't want him to be in the finale.

I totally agree. I watched it on DVR last night and was like, wait, didn't Christian do a biker babe theme in the levi's challenge??? .....and wait, didn't he make the same jacket for the weight loss (old clothing) challenge??? I get that he likes the "biker" theme but it is funny that the judges haven't noticed, especially since they call Rami out on the draping almost every episode!

Semi-Spoiler alert. Don't read this if you DON'T want to know.

Sweet P, Chris, Jillian, and Rami show at Fashion Week. You can see it on the bravo tv website. I would link it but the link shows even though I "whited out the text" I have no idea who the alternate is. I have my opinions about each collection but I will save it until the last episodes air.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Chris is still on the show when originally they booted him! I think it just goes to show that sometimes you make mistakes. Just for that I hope Chris wins and then judges think "hmm". :D

I had thought about that too but I think Chris has held his own fairly well even thought he came close to being booted again.

So no Christian??? Wow...I wonder if he is the alternate...I am a bit surprised honestly...

I don't mind it at all;)!

lauralaylin 02-11-2008 10:33 PM

Project Rungay says that while all 5 had shows, there are still only 3 that will be shown on tv. The others were just decoys. They didn't do that last season, but the did the 2 seasons before (but with only 4).

I'm glad I'm not the only one that reads Project Rungay. It kills me that they call Michael Kors "Miss Kors" and "The Duchess".

Okay totally confused with last nights episode especially since they "booted" one person who supposedly had a show at Bryant Park. Did the people who run the show (Fashion Week) just decide to let this person do one in anyways?

LeslieAGD 02-14-2008 10:10 AM

I'm really disappointed with this season. Looking back, I didn't really like a lot of the designers and the challenges were kind of boring and not varied.

Also, it bothers me that the judges have been selective in their criticism. So Chris makes TWO dresses with similar neck/shoulder pieces...
- This was the THIRD jacket that Jillian made in the last four challenges
- This was the FOURTH outfit that Christian has made with nearly identical puffy shouldered shirt/jacket and skinny jeans/pants
- and Rami and Sweet Pea have made COUNTLESS draped and cocktail dresses, respectively

I think their decision to make Rami and Chris "battle" to show at Bryant Park is dumb, and if Christian wins this will be the fourth year in a row that I hate the winner.
I like this show, but sometimes I really wonder why I watch it when every single year I always hate the outcome.

Someone posted somewhere in this thread that although all 5 showed collections, two of them were supposedly "decoys," so I'm guessing thats it.

And I agree with LeslieAGD COMPLETELY; this season has been disappointing compared to past seasons. The whole competition between Rami and Chris is stupid. I wish they would have just picked one of them and been done with it. (I would pick Chris....Rami seems like an arrogant jerk, IMO).
