Thanks! I was so excited to see them. I've been looking everywhere for the right shoe, in a dark red or plum, with a heel that wasn't too high and yet was elegant. Also didn't want shoes that were too strappy - and had a back - so I wouldn't fall out of them! It has been really hard to find. Thank goodness for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - I found several pairs there that I liked, but these were the most comfortable.

^^ I also tried on the first one above, but its heel is about an inch higher and the colors weren't right for my wedding. Agree those are beautiful, though! Stuart Weitzman always issues a number of beautiful wedding shoes.

This picture reminds me of my SIL. We have an awesome picture of her putting on her Docs with her wedding dress during the reception.

The liklihood of me putting on day-glo green chucks at my wedding is pretty high.

Although mine are getting really dirty - I may or may not buy new for the occasion (if they're on sale for $30).

But let's be honest - there's never going to be a wedding. ;)

I wore fuchsia heels with a rhinestones and a little bow on them, but then switched to fuchsia flipflops with about an hour to go in the reception.

I am loving this thread. I *almost* bought these for my wedding, but they were so uncomfortable that I couldn't do it.

So I opted for double platform Loubioutins. Real smart I know... They are beautiful. I'll see if I can't find a pic of them and post it :)
