Congrats!!

Congrats! I've loved reading your posts. My daughter pledged Chi O a week ago...there were lots of tears...not because she was sad really, but because of the stress of rush! She called tonight and could not be happier!! Needless to say, I've relaxed too. Enjoy your new sisterhood, and I wish you all the best!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I was never a colonizing member, but know several people who have been and they were all very pleased with their experiences! You will make a fabuluous new member and sister of Chi-O.

Wow another CW! Chi O is all over GC this fall it seems. Then again, they are the largest NPC sorority. Congratulations and enjoy pledging and all of the opportunities you will have as a founding sister!

Congratulations! Enjoy your experience being a founding member of Chi Omega on your campus!

I have a friend who just started working at DePaul and he loves it. Just thought I'd share.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so glad that you made the choice... I was afraid that I had told you too much and scared you off from joining a colony. It is the coolest thing ever!!! but also very stressful!!!
Enjoy it all!!!

Got your PM before I read this... kind of gave it away!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

HI!!!

Oh, I finally got back to my computer!!

I'm so excited, I'm bouncing off my walls. As I was saying earlier, I really am happy about joing ChiO as a new member especially since we're a colony and we're all getting to know each other. I really like the fact that we're all so new to this and we've already made facebook groups and we're getting to know each other very quickly.

But on another note,

I want to thank everyone on GC for everything. I don't think I would have even considered rushing had I not read the many threads nor gotten so many kind words from everyone. I also wish my RhoMU read this so she could know how much I really appreciate her. I hope to talk to her even if she isn't in my chapter. So to everyone, thank you. I will try my best to continue posting how our year goes since we won't be initiated till January and that's when things get even better. I'm off to go order a ChiO hoodie and start reading this HUGE book they gave us.

Adios everyone! and Thank you so much! Love you all!!

. I liked the fact that we only talked to one girl because sometimes it gets hard when I talk to 7 and then I forget names.
That comment got me worried - to a PNM, it may seems to come as a relief, but it's actually no service at al. I inadvertantly got a girl cut by doing this to her during my first rush. At the time, we required a certain number of sisters to have met someone before we were allowed to vote on them. I enjoyed this girl's company so much that no one else got to talk to her, and when it came time to vote, there weren't enough sisters who had met her. I'm SURE she thought I had cut her - especially since she had only talked to one person.

Oddly enough, we because friends, and ended up in another membership organization together after college, and she used to tell people "This is LionTamer, who cut me from her sorority in college". On the upside - just like LilLady, she ended up a ChiO and was happy as pie.
