ARTIC-U-LATE,

My reply was not focus solely toward you, as a matter fact if there was any ill thought in my reply it was focused on Bamboozled. I just used your quote (or rather the quote you quoted) to address the asinine comments being made.

Marquise1911,
Are you upset with my Soror Bamboozled because she told you that "conversate" isn't a word or because she found the thread to be ridiculous?

Either way, she was correct about "conversate" and she's not the only one who feels this thread is ridiculous.

I am so mad you said party people. LOL

Anybody ever think about how converse and converse are spelled the same but sound different? That's called something.....

I just checked....they're called heteronyms.

And all heteronyms are also homographs -- spelled the same, but have different meanings.

All the words I have used in this post are real. I swear.

marquise1911 04-27-2006 12:29 PM

Thanx!<--not a real word!

I'll write that down and use it later. Sounds intelligent.

What is a homophone then?

Man F the t-shirts. As long as YOU know what's up with YOUR org, don't worry about what they say. Don't sweat the small stuff.
