notice the JK and the smiley face. I know I posted in that forum, I don't have memory loss. I just think some people take this place too seriously. I'm not saying they don't check it, but I am also not totally convicned they would be able to use it as evidence because I could be anyone, a friend roomate, or 40 year old man who knows how to type "sorority" into google. Think about it. I could have said I was a legacy to any sorority at any school anywhere and you would never know the difference.

I'm sure that's what that girl from 4 rushes ago said before she went through rush, talked smack about the house she eventually got a bid to, and then depledged because someone in that house read what she wrote on GC and told the whole house -- who made things very unpleasant for her.

Since the incident she's posted maybe once or twice -- both non-sorority related.

I don't think it's appropriate to reveal her identity. I think she's been humiliated enough. Additionally the posts that got her in trouble with the house have been deleted. Old-timers will remember her though.

Well, we didn't talk last night, but we did catch up briefly on IM this morning. She's going to three pref parties! They are, in order of her preference so far:

Phantom Regiment
Seattle Cascades
Colts

She got dropped from Carolina Crown, which was her #2 pick after 19 Party. She's not upset about it, though, as she came to realize they weren't a good fit. The girls she met were "all skinny and beautiful with perfect hair and teeth". She's no slouch herself, but I guess she was a little intimidated. :)

She's done early tonight, so we should have time to catch up before tomorrow - Bid Day!

So, I guess the name RedRoseCousin can stick! :) FYI, she also preffed Delta Gamma and Kappa Delta. Throughout the rush process, there were lots of ups, a few downs, but in the end she's over the moon about the results. I'm so happy for her! :)
