As long as it ain't during the Red River War (BOOMER SOONER!!! TUCK FEXAS!!!) weekend I wouldn't mind going to the State Fair - never been to it.

On the other hand, you can get OU-vs-Texas tickets at bargain prices outside Lew Sterrett (the Dallas County jail) on the Saturday morning before the game! :D (Some will be forced to sell their tix to make bail.)

Yup. If you wear burnt orange and white, it is strongly advised to stay away from the West End. (Sooner territory.) Though these days, the Dallas gendarmerie will throw people in the drunk tank for the slightest alcohol-induced provocation. At least they have the smarts to keep the Shorthorns away from the Sooners by keeping 'em in separate holding cells.
