I agree that it didn't need to be THREE hours long! I went to sleep twenty minutes before it got over (Pretty much when I knew who would win!) I thought for sure he'd pick Krisily...but I liked Sarah better. Krisily seemed to be a different person in every episode.
Did anyone else think that the Mary-n-Byron plug was really weird. Mary looks really old. |

I'm so glad it's over! I mean, not that anyone was holding a gun to my head forcing me to watch it, but I did and it was pretty crappy this season.
I didn't really like or really dislike anyone since crazy Sarah was sent home broken-hearted (which of course implies that she has a heart and not just a swirling vortex of ego and stupidity). I grew to like Krisily but like someone said, she was just trying too hard -- it was like she lived her whole life in this little box and had never seen or done ANYTHING before so each and every thing was THE MOST EXCITING, AWESOME THING EVER. That kind of enthusiasm is nice, but I'd rather get it from my dog than a person. Sarah was fine but she bugged me a bit. The whole not wanting to kiss him so it would be perfect when it happened thing is weird. She's one of those girls who probably fancies herself a little Cinderella princess, and I don't really like those girls. But still, she's fine. I'm just glad it's not me having to listen to Charlie's voice for all eternity. Oh an also, any adult who refers to something as a "promise ring" needs to be kicked in the butt. |
I liked Sara from the beginning, and I wanted her to win, but I also think she's too good for him. I thought Krisily seemed a little too excited and fake. The finaly was way too long (as everyone said) and all in all, like Valkyrie said, this season was a bore.
On another note, I had heard that this would be the last season of the Bachelor due to ratings, but a few weeks ago during the show they advertised that they were looking for the new Bachelor. I think she show has run its course, personally... |
Did Charlie bug anyone else? It just seems like he was in it for the personal gain. Like he had an acting career, but his didn't take off like his bro's so now he went on the bachelor to get more exposure?
Also Sarah B is a really cute girl, but I wonder how she'll feel at Thanksgiving dinner sitting next to Rebecca Romijn? I don't think I'd like being compared to her at the family reunion. :p |

I think the way they did this season (while a little crazy and weird at times) actually made the "franchise" more interesting and made me want to watch again. I'll admit - I didn't watch most of the finale. I had it on, then would flip over to the baseball game, and then flip back, or walk around my house doing something else, and then I abandoned it totally when CSI: Miami came on. But by that time I had already peeked and found out who he chose (and I've also been one who liked Sarah from the beginning, and was actually glad that she wasn't intimidated by Charlie's friend pushing her on being controlling and such - hello, YOU'RE not the one who'd be involved with her, so back off!) Anyways, we'll see what happens next - anyone want to start a pool as to how long this relationship will last?? :D |

I have been watching this season sporadically and am still just thrilled that Sarah "W is for Witch" got kicked off. Any time I've ever heard that lame "don't hate me because I'm beautiful" line, it's coming from a girl who is just a terrible, heartless, awful person...and who usually is only moderately attractive. I have to give kudos to both Sarah B and Krisily...when was the last time that both finalists looked so darn respectable at the end? Krisily's exit was pure class, and Sarah B was able to maintain a squeaky-clean reputation the whole time. Considering how much alcohol and drama the producers inflict on the contestants, they should both be commended. Other than Krisily's "body shot" (which was just a quick lick on her stomach, not that scandalous), I can't think of anything that would make either girl feel like she had to apologize or explain to her family. |
This was the first season I have watched in quite some time, and I found the changes more interesting, though the girls are definitely a lot more ruthless now.
I was glad that Sarah B won though I was surprised--I thought since Krisily met more friends that she was going to get picked. I am glad though she didn't--granted she handled the breakup well, but her over-enthusiasm bugged the crap out of me! I just wanted to slap her upside the head everytime she gushed to someone! |
Holy old thread, Batman!
For those who follow Bachelor stuff, this couple split up in Fall '07 (pretty long-lasting for a Bachelor couple). But now..... THEY ARE BACK TOGETHER! yay. http://pacificcoastnewsonline.celebu...ml?bfm_index=5 |
Move over, Trista and Ryan... Looks like another Bachelor/Bachelorette couple may finally be sealing the deal. A summer wedding date is rumored for Charlie and Sarah.
