Gosh these girls are such drama queens!

I have seen way too much scary ass eyeshadow. The girl in all green had on NEON GREEN eyeshadow absolutely caked on. She had to have been wearing a ton for it to be so bright on her dark skin :eek:

then the powder blue eyeshadow on the girl with the short hair who was talking about accepting whatever the decision was gracefully...

This group of semifinalists is about twenty times better than last year's, that's for sure.

Only one big surprise.

i thougth the first group that got cut sounded good.

Whew...I'm glad the real competitions start next week. These audition episodes were driving me insane!!!

On a side note, Camile Velasco (the hometown Maui pancake girl from last season) just signed with MOTOWN!!!

I know I'm in the minority but I like Mikalah. She's loud and she's obnoxious but she seems genuinely sweet.

I'm confused on how they're doing the next set of voting with seperating the boys and girls. Can anyone explain?

I like Mikalah, too. She, both guys with dreadlocks, and the Latino dude with the hat are my favorites.

I still think Mario will come out on top - he has something that just screams "buy me" about him.

I like Travis and glad he made it - he is an absolute baby doll.

:confused: :confused: Did the girl that lost her voice in Hollywood (heavier black girl) make it last night? I don't remember seeing her.

I think it's all about Anwar. He's been by far the best I've seen this year IMO. I can't stand that Mikalah girl. She's too over the top & that just irritates me. Her singing is just o.k. but that's just my personal taste & preference.
I do have to say that I believe that the men are by far the stronger singers this year instead of the women.

She unfortunately was in room 1 last night and got cut. I liked her smoky sound, but the voice loss really hurt her I think. (And I think the fact TPTB have some sexist bias that they can put on fugly guys but not overweight girls. :rolleyes: )

I didn't catch last night. Maybe the last 2 minutes. I saw them scroll through all the girls.

YAY for Anwar, Anthony and Lindsey. I'll be rooting for them. Mikalah makes for good TV but her voice isn't all that spectacular. I've heard people comparing her to Barbara Streisand... probably because she has the same grating personality. Her and Scott will definitely be funny to watch. (Scott doesn't seem to play well with others...)

But yeah... Mario... is the golden boi. And I still have yet to be impressed by ContantMeh...er Constantine.


ETA: I started reading the bios. Aloha, one of the girls we've never seen, wears a flower in her hair every time she performs. It's her good luck charm. Didn't we learn this DOESN'T fly with the producers?? You'd think she would have learned from Jasmine. And Jared Yates, another boy we've never seen (but is pretty hot) is a CLAY fan! So he earns my respect because it takes a big man to admit that. And Joe Murena... also a mystery dude... REALLY HOT! I'm looking forward to next week. Hopefully they don't suck.

That is the truth - I liked her voice too. I am still mad that Simon called the triplets fat at their audition! Um, Ruben anyone?

I actually like Bo alright, but not him. UGH and double UGH UGH. Although if you look at him sometimes he looks like Brendan Fraser gone bad.
