OMG I miss it so much. I graduated May 20th of this year and I'm just...so sad its kinda sick. Sometimes I really sit and think "I'm not going back in September...no more recruitment, no more late night chill sessions with sisters, no more Greek Week..." and I get so sad it hurts :( I hope it gets better...I just kinda push it to the back of my mind but I know in September its gonna be hard.

lately, yes, very much so. I just wish the sisters that I love the most were down the block like they used to be instead of hours away.

Lately, I have been wanting to go back to college very badly. It's funny, because I never thought I would feel this way since it took me 7 years to get my Bachelor's. Part of me wishes that I could back in time and start over at a different college. The one I went to (Jacksonville University) was kind of a forced decision because of a situation that I was experiencing. I wish I could be a high school senior and reapply to a bunch of colleges (instead of just 2) in different states. It is hard to explain, but I am just not all that happy about how I have spent the last 7 years of college. I just have to move on. Although, now I want to go to grad school because I feel like there is more that I could be doing.

Omigosh, I'm so glad I found this thread. I just graduated in May and my chapter just had Bid Day yesterday and I miss it SO much. It's SO weird not to be there and be a part of it, after having invested so much time in it all of those years. I'm so glad to hear they're doing well and I know I'm and "adult in the real world" now, but it's just SO hard.

I know hun, it really truly sucks. My roommates, who aren't greek or have any connection to their college, don't understand it... I've stopped trying to explain it anyway. It gets easier, but it's still really hard. :(

I graduated in May and I find it weird that i'm not back at school. The only reason I would want to go back would be to see my friends and sisters. Also I do plan to help out during rush so i'll get to see my sisters!!!!!!!

Been out for 3 years now. The only thing I can say I miss is being around my friends at the drop of a dime. So as a whole no I don't miss college.

I have been out for almost 30 years, and have a daughter who is a freshman this year. It just makes it that much harder to remember what it was like!

I graduated in May and am missing it like crazy. I hardly kept in touch with anyone back home so my social life is so dull now. Luckily in a month I'm moving to Charlotte, NC with my little, so I'll atleast be back with one of my good friends!

It's toughest talking to my good friends still at school and hearing how everyone is all and the things I'm missing.

well i decided to take the grad school route so i guess i've never really left... don't plan to anytime soon either

Yeah, I'm definitely missing it hardcore right now. I'll be going back to help out with recruitment all next week as an advisor (driving back and forth is gonna suck!), but it's just not the same. I miss the excitement of meeting all the new girls, and hell, I miss class. I'd do anything right now to just up and leave work and go back to the old on campus apartment, open the windows and blast music and sit on a blanket with all my sisters. And it's only been a year and a half...

I've been out MANY years and go back frequently, but I'm already laying the groundwork to convince Hubby that Chapel Hill would be a great place to retire!!:D
