then again, is it excusable if its during the winter but youre going to be indoors (ie. taking a cab to a club/party) vs. out shopping in the street or going to class during the winter?

oh the number of girls ive seen fall on ice going to class in open toe heels. ridiculous.

I don't know. I guess it doesn't mean the girl is a ho bag, but if I see a girl in open toed shoes in the snow, I automatically wonder why she thought that was a good idea.

I think the norm for New York are quite different than down here. I put away my open-toed shoes once it begins to get cold, and don't break them out until spring. But I think if you're going to a club or a party, it wouldn't be a big deal to put on some cute open-toed shoes. Plenty of designers include peep-toe shoes in their fall collections.

I think you're talking about gauncho pants. I'm not fond of them either.

They wore them to class? If they were stupid enough to do that, they deserved to bust their butts! :p Especially if it was cold enough for there to be ice on the ground.

All of you have pretty much summed up what I think of as a rather, er, cheap floozy except for one thing--the Eau de Stale Cigarettes! If a girl looks like you described, I suspect that she's a little questionable, but the clincher is if she smells like the smoke from last night's bar. Ewww...

Or she might smell like Designer Impostors. Either way, it's still the same.

I don't want to offend anyone, but another trait I've noticed among ho-bags is two-toned hair. Like black under blonde or white blonde streaks on very dark hair. Not a fan at all.

Peep-toe shoes are very cute and I think they are do-able in the fall/winter on occassion. But I personally would never be caught dead in strappy sandal-like heels in the winter.

I'm sorry, if a girl wears the playboy bunny to me that's like she's practically saying "I'm a slut, come do me" (pun not intended).
I do have a shirt that says "Ivy League Playmate Department." I would argue that this is an exception to the rule. ;)

WORD on the two-tone hair. I'm sorry, Shakira...that looks TRASHY.

Ooh, ooh, but you could always wear Pom-pom Booties.

I just found these today. I am scared.

Hooker books? Hey, don't dis on girls that are trying to expand their minds and learn new things. Maybe, they're just trying to move out of cheap ho bag status and into pimped out ho bag status. :p

If by "hooker boots" you mean go-go boots, I rock those all year long. :p The key is, if it's cold out, you have to wear tights under your skirt and a turtleneck sweater to sort of "winter-fy" the look, or else you end up looking like one of those freshmen girls that run around in sparkly tank tops and strappy stilettos even though it's 28 degrees outside.
