I'm glad VH1 aired all of those videos. I was able to find more songs for my Mp3. Many of these artists I had forgotten about. :o

They also played vidoes I hadn't seen in YEARS - Lakim Shabazz, The Cookie Crew :eek: , Nefertiti, X-Clan, Redhead Kingpin :eek: again, King Sun :eek: yet again...the list goes on and on.

I'm home sick today and they're still playing old school hip hop videos. :D

The good old days when people would perform for free for the community without something jumping off. I was able to see Heavy D, Vesta, Troop and Levert that year. When are they going to honor Heavy D? They are not going in order at all....

Stetsasonic was one of the first rap groups to have a live band. They're best known for the song 'Sally'. They're from Brooklyn.
