cngratulations on you upcoming invite. every chapter has its own time table, so it is hard to predict when they will be extending bids. just relax and enjoy getting to know the girls you will spend time with in the next few days.

topics: movies you recently saw, books you read, something interesting you did over the summer, hobbies you enjoy, classes you like or dislike, favorite bands, music, etc.,if you are new to the area, you could ask about a good place to get your hair/nails done, where there is good shopping, etc.

This sounds almost like a "prefs"type meeting. I think this is a great time to talk about how important these past few weeks have been for you, and that you have really come to love XYZ and the women in it, that you actually turned down another bid from ABC because you wanted to get to know XYZ better. That you have made wonderful friends in XYZ and want the XYZ's to know that your heart is with them.

Today I had an awesome time with 3 sisters and myself. We went out for ice cream and talked!! I told them that I had rushed before and received a bid. They asked where..I told them and kinda went through why I didnt accept it and all. One of even asked who was my favorite then and all...I told them to be honest....and then I thought "oh thats my time to tell them how much my opinion has changed and how much I loved getting to know them" I told them how I called my best friend after the first event and told my best friend how these girls were amazing. And they were like aww you're so sweet lol. I only got to hang out with them for 45 minutes then I had to go to work....but I was 15 minutes late to work lol...but its ok my manager wasnt mad or anything! When I was leaving the next "buddy" for one of the other girls that was there was just arriving.

Another thing, I was wearing a pink collared shirt with a pocket on it, and on the corner of the pocket had an animal, a _______..(ya know kinda like polo shirts have a horse jockey thing) and one of the sisters noticed and was like OHH look! and i was like I know i saw that this morning while I was picking out my outfit...and one of the other girls was like "I have that shirt but in white!!"

When I left they didn't tell me anything about another event or anything, but I hope I hear from them soon!!!

Chi OMEGA

I got an email today extending me a bid!!! I was so excited, I ran downstairs hugged my dad, called my sister in law, my best friend, my old Bible study leader!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! This is amazing!!!!! The girls are absolutely amazing and I love all the ones I met!! The recruitment VP gave me the bid, and told me that she will give all my information to the new member educator and she will be contacting me! I'm asking my other sorority friend whose in KAT about what i am and such, shes like you're not a pledge bc thats considered hazing, you're a new member! lol!! AHHHH :):):):):). I printed out the email the VP recru. emailed me :).

My best friend said "After a year and half, this is why God wanted you to wait and go through now." I never made it to a Delta Gamma event, my car stopped working while going there, and never heard back from KAT (that was the party that was at a house, these girls were my 2nd favorite!!) and then I declined KKG's bid. I am IMing all of my friends online "I GOT A BID FROM CHI OMEGA!!!!!!!!!!" lol.

Ok, well thanks for all the encouragement and all of the words of advice, finger crossing and hoping!! You all ROCK!!!!!
