I couldn't imagine marrying someone who has a NEWBORN with someone else. Just wouldn't feel right to me. I would want him to spend as much time as possible with the baby. And you cant shuffle a newborn back and forth. It's not right I tell ya!

Cosign but some people are just triflin'. Yeah Twittney, I 'm looking at you!

That was exactly what I was thinking! I can't imagine how I would feel in Shar's shoes.

I'd be po'd!! But, then again, then I would look inward. Why am I having multiple children with a man that will not marry me?

That's true. Then again, we don't really know what their "arrangement" was. Things might have been on the road to marriage. We never got that side of the story.

Kevin may be thinking like this: On one hand, we have Shar, who has your kids and is not really working steadily, but getting royalties from Moesha. On the other hand, we have Britney, who is single and carefree, making millions and millions of dollars for doing nothing much. Hmmm..... Who should I choose?

Shar looks GREAT and she has a BEAUTIFUL new baby. Who needs Kevin? I'm just sorry that this whole mess played out in the media. I'm happy that her baby was healthy because I know that I would have been STRESSED OUT if something crazy like this came up on me while I was pregnant.

I just can't believe Brandy...

I know I am going to hell for this, but I can't stop thinking of her as HOEsha.

Lil' Kim needs to not model herself after a combination of Victoria Gotti, Paris Hilton, and P-Don'ty's Mama.

Poor Whitney and Bobby's girl could probably get hand me downs from Mike Tyson's girl.

We all know Bratney is going to be pay ChSup for Shar's baby. I think Whitney, Ms. Spears mama and Brandy's mama need interventions.

Can we get an Amen? Shaunie Diesel was almost in that same situation, but Shaq got some sense in him and finally married her when she was carrying Baby Shaquir.

baby fat? ummm...to an extent. i'm thinking if Bobbi Kristina keeps at it, she'll be like Carnie Wilson and make a check by hawkin' gastric bypass surgery:rolleyes: her size seems to be (IMO) from stress-related overeating. i think SHE needs some intervention...

The truly sad part: Some of those pics are halfway decent compared to others at the photographers website. A DJ in Atlanta called it "Botox gone bad", but I think it's a severe case of her wanting to be Pamela Anderson more than she wants to just set her own standard of...."beauty". Can someone get her some self-esteem?

Denzel Washington to direct Sammy Davis biopic

From syndicated columnist Liz Smith:

Excerpt from Liz Smith's column, August 2, 2004

"You have to be able to look back at your life and say, 'Yeah, that
was fun!' The only person I ever hurt was myself, and even that I did to the minimum. If you can do that and you're still functioning, then you're the luckiest person in the world."

So said Sammy Davis Jr.

Most people who knew the great entertainer would take issue with Sammy's contention that he hurt himself to a "minimum," but nobody who ever saw this man perform at his peak -- and even past it -- could deny his extravagant gift, so much of it squandered.

Now comes word that Denzel Washington, on fire with his current
performance in "The Manchurian Candidate," is developing material to write the screenplay of Wil Haygood's recent biography of Sammy, "In Black and White." Denzel hints he might direct, as well.

Not surprisingly, Denzel shows little interest or affection for
Sammy's Rat Pack era, his idolization of Frank Sinatra and his
descent into self-deprecating self parody. (Although this portion of Sammy's life will probably have to be dealt with.) The Oscar-winning Denzel is most taken with Sammy's younger years, playing with his father on the vaudeville circuit, as part of the sensational Will
Mastin Trio.

Sammy stood only 5-foot-3. He was self-taught. He was a giant in the entertainment field, however, and he fought and suffered to make a place for himself in a world that wanted to box him in. And eventually, he boxed himself in, too.

If anybody can give dignity and understanding to Davis's life and
career, it is Washington. The problem: Where is the young genius to portray Sammy? Hmmm... Usher?

ST's thoughts: Umm, hell, no on Usher Raymond II. I would say that Don Cheadle is the only choice to play SDJ. Somebody suggested Taye Diggs or jazz singer Darius DeHaas.

I heard that Eddie Griffin will play Sammy?

That may work. On that same board I got this from, somebody else suggested Wayne Brady.

http://i.a.cnn.net/cnn/2004/SHOWBIZ/....chappelle.jpg

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) -- Dave Chappelle has signed a massive deal with Comedy Central that will return the comedian's hit series to the network for two more seasons.

Sources familiar with the deal indicate it could be worth about $50 million, vaulting Chappelle, 30, into the rarefied realm of television's top earners. The new contract is believed to mark not only a steep increase for Chappelle as star, writer, co-executive producer and co-creator of "Chappelle's Show," but more significantly, reward him with a hefty chunk of the series' robust DVD sales.

Am I the only person who thought he was older than 30??

According to www.imdb.com he was born August 24, 1973. So he'll be 31 this month.
