I really don't have anything to work on right now, so unless something CAH-RAY-ZY goes down, it's going to be a loooong afternoon.

I am in exactly the same boat, except the bosses are gone for the weekend too - we don't have a case until next weekend, and my research is completed. I think I've already read every website that is even remotely interesting and is in english. I'm on IMer, to no avail. To top it off, some friends cut out at lunch and are currently heading to the bar to prep for the Sox game, text messaging me to fuck with me about it.

But I need to be here in case something goes down and needs to be done by the weekend. Fuck me.

I think I could tough it out if we could get on IM, however we got a memo earlier this week that IM is no longer allowed.

is it 3:00 yet? My kids are C-R-A-Z-Y!!!! Right now they are playing basketball...yeah for gym!

I really want it to be the end of the work day because I get to go pick my mom up at the airport after work! She's coming to visit me for the long weekend and we are going to do some wedding planning - and eat lots of food! :)

I don't have any projects to work on today so unless some day-to-day sort of task comes down the pike, I have nothing to do. My boss is in one of our other offices today so I can't even ask her for work. Maybe I'll see if anyone has some filing I can help them with or something.

O my goodness!!! The firm's holiday cards are going out soon, and I have been updating/editing addresses in our database for a week solid!!!! AAAArrrrggghhhh!!!!! These attorneys are driving me nuts! Well, it's five o'clock somewhere.........but not here!

My dad got to go home at 12:30 today because they had nothing to fix.

My mom is playing BADMINTON across the cubes with her coworkers.

I am going to touch feet.

This is not fair.
