Did anyone see Reagan's son interview on Dateline tonight? He seems to be bothered that people like Bush are trying to claim to be Reagan like. He also said he believes his dad would have been against the war. Any thoughts? Granted he says he is an independant, he should know more about his father than most.

Reagan may have been against the war. He was an excellent diplomat. Then again, we never knew if he would have been willing to back up his foriegn policy with guns if need be. It never really came to that (unless you count Guantanamo).

We can discuss all day what Reagan "might" have been for days, but since he had been "out of the international loop" for the past 10-15 years, but we have no real concept.

As for his son, he'd have to go a LLLLOOOOONNNNGGGG way to prove to me that he's fit to walk in his ballet slippers, er, shoes.
