Wisconsin.
I was waiting for this one to come up, but because of zombies? :) haha The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, The Silence of the Lambs: all influenced by the story of Ed Gein from Plainfield, Wisconsin. There was a book written called Zombie based on the killings of Jeffrey Dahmer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But then we have all the good reasons too, like That 70's Show, Laverne & Shirley, Happy Days, Step by Step, and The Young and the Restless. |
Texas because there are no cars, only horses. There seems to be always some type of shoot out or something, a new sheriff is in town every couple of weeks, and you're required a heavy long duster jacket, even in the middle of summer.

Poor NJ!
I moved to the state just over 2 years ago, and I love it. Beautiful towns, the Jersey Shore (which is gorgeous, and nothing like the show!), mountains, close to NYC.. I could go on and on. But yes.. avoid the turnpike! The states I'd put on the bottom of my list to visit: Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Wisconsin |
