Well, I am shooting for late June/early July trying to zero in on a weekend date (I gotta get my vacation time in ASAP or there's gonna be problems later on...)

How's that for openers. Any questions or comments?

Late June is out, but 4th of July weekend may work. I'll have to check my date book too.

Won't hotel rates be kinda high that weekend?
 

While 4th of July weekend sounds doable, I don't wanna get gouged on hotel rates (and deal with heavy holiday traffic to boot).

You can get condos for dirt cheap then.
