That picture made me laugh harder than I've laughed in a while . . . you would think that one of her minions would have reminded her to watch herself while getting out of that car. http://www.kurts-smilies.de/pst.gif

Not possible (obviously), we all know only Allen II can beget Allen III....I wish she would have learned how the family line of succession worked before she opened her mouth and made herself look dumb! You know that boy's son can only be named MISTER II:mad:  |

I also grew up with a boy who was the II, but was named after a cousin that was killed in Vietnam. The cousin didn't have any male children, so I think it was appropriate. Definately not cool when the "honoree" has a male child or has the opportunity to have a male child. The only credit I give Ms. Averson is that the baby's first name is not Allen. Of course with a first name like Mister what the heck else are they supposed to call him. If she had named him David Allen or something like that, I would have been  |
This weekend (Saturday) I read on CNN's Headline Ticker that Toni Braxton no longer is starring in Aida. Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child will take over the role. :o
ETA Article: Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams To Replace Toni Braxton In 'Aida' Fri Oct 24,11:00 AM ET LAUNCH Radio Networks Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams will join the cast of the Broadway musical Aida, replacing singer Toni Braxton starting November 18. Braxton will give her final performance in the Disney musical at the Palace Theatre on November 16, after a four-month run. The 23-year-old Williams, who joined Destiny's Child in 2000, said in a statement, "I think it's every performer's dream to one day be on a Broadway stage. To play Aida is a dream come true. I'm very excited for this opportunity." Aida features a Tony Award-winning score by Elton John and Tim Rice. The musical is the story of a love triangle between Aida, a Nubian princess stolen from her country, Amneris, an Egyptian princess, and Radames, the soldier they both love. Williams noted, "Aida is a woman with such strength, and there are so many things about her that I relate to. I love this character and can't wait to truly find her within myself." Williams released her gospel-flavored solo debut album Heart to Yours last year. Her next solo effort, Do You Know? is due in January. |
