My cable company needs triple pimp slaps because my picture has been out ALL DAY!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: I have been calling them all day long and no one is even attempting to fix the problem!! So now I'm sitting at home missing Game 1 of the NBA Finals tonight and watching DVD's and videos because Charter wants to take their sweet time fixing my service. I bet if I didn't pay them at all they'll cut me off with the quickness. :rolleyes:

PS to dude at my job for continuosly looking at wedding rings on the internet and then lying about it talking about "I am helping my boy shop for a ring" boy I aughta...... stop lying you fool!!!!

I KNOW you ain't talking about Charter Communications!!???!!!!

Those bastids gave me a 3 month special, then charged me full price on the 3rd month. When I paid my bill, the people knew this was an issue they were having and allowed me to pay the right price. That didn't stop them from charging me over a $100 for not paying ALL of my bill in May and threatening to cut my service off on June 11th. What I'm confused about is if they know they are having problems with the special in their systems why aren't they proactive in solving the problem instead of reacting to the complaints of their overcharged customers. They could have easily adjusted my bill, before they sent me that mean letter.

They get on my nerves, but this incident did get me 3 more months of the special.:D

*disclaimer* I apologize for this rant if you were not referring to Charter Communications. teehee

I was referring to Charter Communications. On Friday, my cable had not returned so I called Charter like 5 times that day and told each CSR that answered how I always pay my bill on time and that I did not deserve to have to be without cable for 3 whole days and that as soon as my cable was fixed I was going to get DirecTV. The last CSR that I talked to offered to slash my bill in 1/2 (I pay $48 for basic expanded) to $24 for the remainder of 2005. I told him that this was not good enough and that the only reason why Charter treats their customers like isht is that they are the only cable provider in the area and that they would not act like that if they had competition from say, Comcast. So then the guy throws in digital cable for an extra $5 for the rest of 2005. I told him that if he extended it to June of 2006 (so I can watch The Sopranos when they came back on in March) we had a deal. He agreed and not only that he told me that he would send me some coupons for pay-per-view events and other services. See how the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!! Teehee :D

The cable is back ON!!! :D :D :D Now I can watch Lifetime and Game 2 this weekend in peace!!! Hallelujah!!!! I will pick up my digital receiver on Monday!!

Dannnnnnnngggggggg!! I think I may call and complain a little more just to see if I can get a deal close to what you got. $30 for all that hoopla!!

Shoot one of the managers is goin' to slap that CSR upside the head for that one. LOL Oh well enjoy it Soror!!!

a pimp slap to the manager AND staff at Sonic... who ruined my dinner AND got my grandaddy's blood pressure up.

I make an order for a van full of people, have both cashiers repeat the order back to me (they switched cashiers in the middle of me giving the order and again in the middle of the repeat) and still bring the wrong food out to the car. They don't make reciepts for the customers, so when I tell them I'm missing a milkshake and fries, they tell me I didn't order it (even though I SAID it twice and had it REPEATED BACK to me twice...) and I don't have nary a reciept to back it up... and the carhop "already threw the reciept away" (even though we sent HER tail back to the counter to correct the order from jump... why would she throw the reciept away if she was correcting an order already?) so I don't have anything to back me up. Still we sat in the car and ARGUED over a friggin' $3 milkshake for about 20 minutes until my thug life grandaddy got out of the car and tried to go inside and hem somebody up. So my grandaddy didn't get his milkshake...

What do I look like pulling my grandaddy back into the car so he won't literally pop something off?
Whatever happened to the customer is always right?
Why is my grandpa still in here cussing about it?
Why didn't we just go to Checker's instead?

Lately - when it comes to fast food = I've noticed they will not admit when they screw up an order. :mad:

Sounds to me like a strongly worded letter to the company is in order...... (speaking from the perspective of a former customer service supervisor - believe it or not - they read those things aloud in staff meetings).

After many hours of deliberation on this situation I most reply,

First I most go on record of having said I'm sorry for
disappointing you for deceiving and lying about a lot of things that has
happen in the past few mouths. I very disappointed in myself for
allowing something to take place when I knew what was going on. I hope
you allow me to humble you with this reply and to tell you I never meant
for any of this to happen. I most oppose this question, "why do men
lie?" I really don't have and definitive answer but the reason I did is
because I was so afraid of the consequences of losing a friend and that
caused me to be silent. I remember you telling me about you recent
relationship and how he deceived you and I so dearly didn't want to fall
in that same category. It's really not much I can say to put that
beautiful smile back on your face and I'm very sadden by this but I
wanted you to know the reason why I didn't tell the truth. You don't
understand how many times I wanted to tell you the truth. When you use
to make comments about how you would end the friendship if you knew
about the other person it made it just that much harder to tell the
truth. Do you remember when we had this conversation about if you seen
me in the streets with another girl how would you feel and you quickly
responded by saying the friendship would end immediately and that scared
me. You really don't understand how many times I wanted to tell you but
I didn't want to risk losing the friendship but I guess it happen anyway
and it hurts. I hope one day you would be able to forgive me and call me
so we could savage the relationship because I really enjoyed time we
shared. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
