2. When you're competing in your very first half marathon, and he's waiting for you to cross the finish line while holding calla lillies in 30 degree, snowy, rainy weather.

He gives me the remote when we watch tv (smile) and he switched sides of the bed because we both slept on the left.

When your 2,000 miles away and you call him because you had a bad day because your IPod has crashed........ Well you get new ipod delivered to your job the next day full of your favorite songs spanning the 15 years you have been friends. Not to mention the sterling roses with a simple note, "Something to make my baby smile!"

When he not only pulls your card when you need it, but knows EXACTLY the right moment to do so (when you will actually accept it and listen).

When he sends you this message: " I love you with every ounce of my being. (including the one's from my previous lives)" for no reason at all.

When he works 3rd shift EVERY night for 14 nights to make sure that he can come to visit you and his son.

He will put the age candles "21" on a slice of your birthday cake (chocolate, yum) even though you are far removed from that age!


He will also sit a part from the rest at your graduation...he knows what it took for you to get to that moment. He was there in the good and the very bad...he wants to enjoy the moment by himself.
