Alpha Gam Roll Call
 

Well, after registering and reading ALL 7 pages of responses to the roll call, I have to represent the south.

College and Chapter: Mercer University, Gamma Iota

Four months before school started I told a girl that I worked with that I was planning on going through rush. Since she had just graduated, she told me that I HAD to go Alpha Gam. And after I met a bunch of them a week before rush, I knew that she was right. My mind was made up before I even went through recruitment! And I have never regretted the decision I made!!!

My favorite memory?? JUST ONE???????? Well, I guess one of my favorites was at a mixer: Lambda Chi Alpha/Alpha Gamma Delta Toga Party.....ahh the memories...that was also the night I was named sweetheart! ;)

Thanks...and you have NO idea how many people have actually called me that!!! ;)

Can I just say what is up with the LXA/AGD bond? At U Michigan we are (or were I dont know whats its like now, but when I was there it was pretty tight)really close to the LXA's. And we are also tight with DU (Delta Upsilon) too. Any other AGD/DU connections?

Hey sisters,
I just wanted you to know that I switched profile names from KCJAYHAWK1 to GreekGuide.

I just accepted the position of Greek Life Graduate Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia for the 2002-2003 school year. I start in July. I'll be working towards my Masters in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. So, who knows...I may end up at one of your campuses when I finish my program in 2004.

As I get acclamated into my position, please don't hesitate to let me know if you need help with anything. My area of expertise is advertising and marketing, which is the field I have been working in for the past four years since graduation.

Thanks! I am really looking forward to the change from corporate life. I think the excitement and enthusiasm that students have is contagious.

I'll keep everyone posted.....maybe I can start the buzz to bring back EA in a few years....who knows.

Favorite memory as an Alpha Gam: Being on the "inside" for recruitment. It's great being able to share the traditions and memories with so many new girls.

Just saw that someone registered as GamgirlAY so I was hoping to find her here,.... guess we will see :) if so, welcome to AGD's chat room, where craziness meets sisters... or maybe the other way around.

I joined Alpha Gam because it felt right. I went through formal rush feeling empty. AGD came and it felt right!

My favorite memory is during rush when I recieved my invitation to sisterhood. It was the begining and the best feeling in the world!! There was no question!!!!!:D

Hi everyone! I just discovered Greek Chat a couple of days ago, so this is my first post!
Name: Kathleen
Chapter: Gamma Phi at Georgia Tech
Pledge Class: 2000 (I'm a sophomore)
Why I joined: Actually, the girl that I stayed with when I came to visit Tech was the President of Alpha Gam, and she was SO sweet! When I went through rush she was standing in the opening hall greating everyone and she came over and gave me a big hug. All during rush she made a point to come talk to me for a long time during the parties. She was one of the largest factors in my decision to join Alpha Gam, and now she's my sister mom.. but she graduated last year...
Favorite Memory: Wow.. there's too many of these since I live in the house, but one recent thing that people on campus might remember us for is that Outkast was at our Crush Party. We had it in the back room at Cafe Intermezzo. Anyway, they were walking by the building and heard us play a song of theirs, so they came back to say hi and take pictures. It was really cool!
