We can't stay a real long time because we have to run over to Town Center and get BlazerCheer a rush outfit for the first day--also, ASLFRose has 2 guys from school with her.

Yes, we did!! We had 2 Alpha Gams (AGDLynn and AlphaGamDiva), a KD (KDatUTC), an AOII (ASLFRose), a PNM (BlazerCheer), and me the Pi Phi! We went to Bahama Breeze and talked about everything Greek...I wanted to stay much longer!

And KDatUTC, you'll appreciate this after our discussion on race-several hours later, our family went over to the Varsity for supper and the black guy behind the counter greeted BlazerCheer with, "Ni hau." She said, "Uh, I don't speak Japanese," and I said, "That's Chinese!" So they were both embarrassed...:eek:

Had a wonderful time!! It was really great to be able to instantly bond with another AGD (although we had met once before) and other Greeks. Of course we talked about recruitment and GC and recruitment and lol. There was no age barrier!!

In my pm to Carnation, I mentioned that Monica and Ivory and I said that we liked ingrediants on different menus but not one specific dish (excuding dessert of course). I got jerk chicken wings and a salad and a fruit sherbert tower thingie for dessert (it was veryyy good). Monica and Ivory got pasta dishes and split a cheesecake thingie.

As Carnation was leaving, we briefly mentioned the possitiliby of getting together the last weekend in July....

Ivory was wearing her KD jersey. Monica and I were wearing our AGD jerseys. When Candy took a picture of us, we put Ivory in the middle so people would think she was an AGD, ;) :D

If you guys noticed, my kids were heading out the door when the cameras came out--they didn't want to be captured on film without makeup! I wish I'd moved that fast!
