This isn't surprising, given that they had struggled in membership size and recruitment from their establishment onwards, but I'm still sad for the Philly-area alumnae and collegians.

Strange because ADPi still lists the chapter on their website AND the ADPi house is listed on the Penn Greek Housing site.

There is no activity on their Instagram since 2020. Strange.

Their chapter closed during The Covid Pandemic. Any number of plausible excuses exist to explain Current Strange/Incorrect Internet Data/Postings regarding this chapter.

Since I know at least three knowledgeable GCers previously correctly posted the chapter's closing, I'm cancelling my call to The Internet Police regarding the still-viewable old/strange/bad chapter info.

U of Arkansas - over 2100 PNMs (exact number wasn’t stated), Quota was 190

Per U of A Greek Life Facebook

Cookiez17 08-20-2022 08:09 PM

190?! That's massive. I know AGD isn't going to colonize but they need more houses there.

carnation 08-20-2022 08:26 PM

The thing is that so many PNMs aren't receptive to anything but the older houses. They don't want a house that no one in Arkansas has heard of, they want the established groups. The HQs know it and they don't want to be the new group that gets dumped on.

Cookiez17 08-20-2022 08:30 PM

I could rant about ranking and tiers all day, but I 110% get it, especially at a school like Arkansas.

carnation 08-20-2022 09:24 PM

This would be true at several schools. An alum of one of the SEC schools once put her story of the mistreatment of her sorority there, even by IHQ execs who didn't care who they pledged as long as they had the numbers, onto Greekchat. It was horrible. Another poster wrote about what happened to her sorority at UF and I doubt they'll return. And I doubt that Theta would ever go back to Arkansas.

Nobody wants to colonize at a school, knowing full well ahead of time that they're going to be the goats.
