I posted something in my LJ tonite about missing a deceased family member :( and was soo cheered up by someone on my friend's list :)! Thankfully she's in a timezone behind mine and got to read it hehe. It's funny...we don't know each other but she's been through what I'm going through and it was like she knew exactly what to say. Real good advice too. yay for the wonders of the internet and LJ!

I haven't been able to update my LJ in a long while! :( It is blocked here at work. Since I work 8am-5pm, and nights and weekends too, when I am home, I am either getting ready for work or sleeping. Not much time for the comp.

If anybody has an extra account code, I would like one as well please.

Have you tried downloading one of their clients and seeing if it would work that way? I'm not sure it would work, because now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure you have to be on a computer where you can access LJ for it to work, but it's worth a shot.

I want to know when they're going to get the text messaging feature working again! :(

Posting a picture (I'm assuming you mean a picture rather than changing your user icon) is not that simple. That is the right way to start, but part of the code they want you to have is missing. First, of course, make sure your picture is hosted at another site that allows direct image linking. Second, the code needs to look like this:

<img src="ImageURLHere" alt="name for the picture in case it doesn't load in correctly" / > I don't know why that space and slash at the end is so important, but for some reason your pictures will not load without it.

LJ is too fun and addictive. I always like to follow the LJ top 40. Verrry interesting.

Done that, and it hasn't worked. I downloaded it from the LJ site before they blocked it and have deleted it since it wasn't working. I am wondering how I would download it now if I can't access LJ. Is there another site? cnet.dowloads.com?
