"first" does not necessarily mean "best" and since neither org has a cane as an official item there is great difficulty in proving who is first anyway. Do research and some "facts" say Sigmas were first to step with canes ( which can be interpreted as NUPEs with canes first) and some say Sigmas were first to have canes PERIOD. I see Christian orgs., Latin orgs., etc. with canes. even some Alphas lay claim to having them first. this argument is becoming redundant. I am a NUPE and know why I have a cane and as I move further away from my Neo state I am realizing that is all that matters. PM me if their is any disagreeances.

:confused: You need to pay closer attention, Sherlock. Nobody said first was best. First is first. Period. If you're really a nupe, you know what year you all adopted the cane. If you don't know when, you know why, so you can look it up. The answer to who is best will vary on different campuses. Whether or not you perfected it, mastered it, or took it to a higher level, YOU'RE STILL DOING WHAT YOU SAW SOMEONE ELSE DO, FIRST!!!!! PERIOD. I think all of you guys who have wasted your time to make such asinine comments about such a trivial subject, are direct descendents of that era when crack was flooded into the black community and babies came out slightly retarded. My friend, my comment did not include the discussion of who founded the cane, oops my bad, or as some would spell it "kane." My comments were merely made to shed light on how people made comments based on misinformation and are taking to heart a subject that is really so trivial. My comment might have been harsh, but ironic - NO. Now just so you will understand irony - it would have been ironic had a made a comment about who owns the cane, and then posted my remark.

Fair assessment, if you see it that way. But my comments were relegated to people being ignorant for debating about who founded the cane. I did not entertain the discussion, merely commented on how trivial the topic was. But I guess you can see it as irony, pending where you were educated. And where were you educated CHAOS?
