You did not just claim that als463 was NEVER in the military. als463 is a GOOD friend of mine and I am appalled that you have the audacity to claim that she lied about her service. She is NOT one of the phonies that we have seen all over youtube.
And as to your advice to the OP that he just up and join the National Guard because he will get the same "brotherhood" as a fraternity, what planet did you come from? My brother served in the National Guard for 7 years. While he is no longer the same person he was prior to his military service, his service in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM instilled a sense of "brotherhood" in the sense that Greek life can instill. My brother rarely speaks to those he served with and he got out 7 years ago. They might be a random facebook friend but other than that he has very little contact with them.
Me on the other hand, being Greek I HAVE the sisterhood you are describing. I am incredibly active in my sorority as an alumnae member. The bond I have with my sisters is COMPLETELY different than the bond I have with people who graduated from Arizona State or Northern Arizona (where I got my degrees) from.
Now, I'm not saying that you don't have a right to post or a right to your opinion, but posting incorrect advice or making claims that just aren't true isn't cool.
