My personal favorite is the GROOVE PANT, shown here. |
I loved black bitch pants. They always made a girl's ass look good.

We referred to them as "booty-pants." (As in, "What are you wearing tonight?" "Oh, my black booty-pants and a cute top." We wore them w/ sweaters in the winter and wah-lah! Badge attire.) Some of the fraternity boys I knew called them "f*@k-me pants." I miss those things! Yes, mine are all now my workout or Yoga pants as well. |
HA We called them "booty-pants" also! And I wore them as badge attire all the time. I even tried wearing them to work as "business casual" right after I graduated....yeah...i'm sure everyone took me seriously.

This thread needed to be bumped, so the newcomers could revel in its joy. :D

Good lord, this thread made me laugh. I remember those pants as I think I, and everyone I knew, owned those pants in college. Mine are long gone :)

Can someone please bring these pants back?
Normally I hate having really old threads bumped, but I woke this morning thinking "god I miss girls wearing the black sorority pants..." |
What's the equivalent now?
I am old and live in Pittsburgh, so sometimes I still break out the sorority pants when I need an elastic waist & just don't give a shit. |
ROFL! I totally had these when I was in college in 2000, and so did my sisters!
|
I know I'm not the first person to ask this, but does anyone have a picture? The closest thing I can think of is the fuzzy pants people wear in a set with a zip up top and some own in a million colors, but I'm sure that's not right. I either don't know what these are because a) I'm a Californian (not likely) or b) this thread is 9 years old (more likely).
ETA: Omg I think I know what they are! There's a chick on What Not To Wear who's a welder...I think she was wearing some. |

LOVE these pants. I'm afraid I'll wear them out and won't be able to find another pair! |
O-M-G...............I am totally LOLing about this. Yup, I proudly sported my "sorority girl pants" from Express when I was a collegian............with either my platform sandals if it was warm out, or my thick soled, clunky boots if not.............god those were the DAYS!
|
When I was in undergrad, the official "going-out" outfit was sorority-girl pants, black ankle-zip boots, a french blue button-up blouse, and a silver beaded necklace. Pass the hunch punch, please!
