That's exactly what I'm saying: "If ya can't take the heat..." then, WHY did you come on the show in the first place?? If I were on the show I wouldn't be acting like he is by judging Chris (b/c Theo IS judging Chris by saying one thing and doing another)...I would be kinda grossed out at times (like when Chrsi was making out with his "friend") but I would respectfully voice my opinions and concerns (of which I wouldn't have as long as we were not sharing a room)...the same rules that apply for the rest of the house should apply to Chris as well...

I think that this is a damn good topic as far as last nights show. Man talking about a really good stimulating conversation where you have different thoughts and views on the same show, and it's ok. I just wanted to put that out there.:D

I'm not sure that I want to classify what Theo has is hate towards Chris because he is gay. Now he does state that a homosexual lifestyle is a sin, and I agree with you Snuggles12 that he is talking out both sides of his mouth when he says that about the gay lifestyle, but yet he is having sex outside of marriage, which also is a sin.

Now you saw that he called his father last night who is a minister to verify that being gay is a sin. Now you heard his father confirm that it was a sin, maybe his father never told him that have sex outside being married is a sin. ;) I'm just saying...he he he.

One more thing....someone made a comment that Aneesa's eyes do not blink at the same time....well I saw it last night and I thought I was going to fall on the floor laughing.

but, if you remember, mike was saying what his father had told him. i don't recall him saying that he actually believed that. if he did and i'm wrong, i'll wear the hat.

and as far as religion goes, anyone who is a true believer and really is a follower, such as myself, will not hate anyone. we are taught to love everyone. true, we do believe in a right and wrong, but we are not to hate anyone who as chosen the latter path. i don't think theo hates chris or anyone else who is gay. i simply believe that he disagrees with homosexuality and that it is rooted in his spiritual and religious beliefs

Regardless of who taught it to him, Mike got criticised for even expressing those feelings. It was not his father that people were criticising, it was him.

Now when Theo says the same stuff but about somebody else, it's ok? Because it springs from a religious source, we should respect the fact that he thinks it is ok to discriminate against a certain group of people? Because it is rooted in a spiritual belief? There are a lot of wrongheaded ideas rooted in spiritual beliefs and the fact that someone thinks god said it doesn't make them ok.
I think that people who say it is when they were the first ones to criticise Mike are hypocrites.

the point that i am trying to make is that i don't believe theo is discriminating against chris or other homosexuals. he just doesn't approve of the lifestyle. i haven't once heard him say that he doesn't like chris because he is gay, nor have i seen him treat chris with disrespect/disdain because he is gay. theo has just made it known that, because of his religious belifes, he doesn't believe in homosexuality. and, i don't believe he is judging chris either. he hasn't condemned chris to hell and if he did, it wouldn't be right because that is not his call to make. he doesn't talk down to chris, he doesn't treat chris bad. he just made it known how he feels about the homosexual lifestyle.

and yes, mike got criticized for saying what his father told him, but not by me because i didn't think it to be as serious as coral made it out to be. i think he could've picked his words better, but i wasn't on the "i hate mike" bandwagon because of it. and i don't think there were a lot of people who were.

I didn't mean those areas specifically and wasn't implying that Southside equated the projects or low income housing... besides Cabrini is a bit west. I'm wondering if the place where they are doing the mural is near the Point I really couldn't tell from Tuesday's show. But as you know there are many beautiful museums south. Museum of Science for instance right down the street from UofC in Hyde Park. The reason that I brought it up is, being from Chicago and seeing how they only stay in those two areas North (wicker park) and South loop (water tower place) they are definitely stuck in a bubble and aren't being exposed to a true experience of Chicago.

Is it just me...
