Considering I just got a new car, I only have a few things on my Christmas list this year:

1. Good grades for the Fall '02 semester
2. An electric blanket (I'm not used to this cold weather!)
3. Safe trip for me and my family to and from home.
4. SNOW!!!!

Dear Santa,

I've been a really good girl this year. So I was hoping that you'll bring me this year:

1) A new higher paying job.....or for the job that I currently have to last past Feb

2) The winning lottery numbers so that I can have money to pay off my student loans and quit my crappy job

3) lots of sorority nalia. I only have my founders shirt and line shirt. I would like a windbreaker with my letters, a sweatshirt,and anything else that has Carolina blue and Lavender on it

4) home safely when I go to New Orleans Christmas day

5) and last be not least, for the weather in Dallas to make up its mind if it wants to be hot or cold.

Dear Santa,

Hope everything is going well at the North Pole. I know how busy you are with everything. If its not too much trouble I would like a:
1. A new car. Either a Ford Focus like mine before or a VW Pasat, or whatever I like.
2. Passing all my classes this semester (please let me pass Biometrics).
3. Getting accepted into the study abroad program for Denmark and finding and getting a scholarship(s) to help pay for it.
4. laptop computer'
5. A Border Collie puppy (like Jan's personality, I miss her alot)
6. A guy that is interested in me and I'm into him, and he has the guts to say something about it. And hopefully that would lead to dates and it might turn into good.

I know I'm Jewish and all, and maybe I should be writing to Hanukkah Harry instead, but he tends to only give out dreidels...

I would like:

- Peace on earth, goodwill toward men and women
- A happy, healthy, and safe holiday season for my family and friends, including my fellow GC'ers
- A new car - preferably one that can survive a New England winter
- A full-time, permanent, well-paying job in my field
- My parents and my in-laws to get along
- A kitten, and please take away my husband's allergy to cats :(

First off I want to say, Amycat! Your first wish came true. :D

Ok, so here is my real wish list:

#1(ie, the best gift ever!) Please let some Medical School somewhere decide that I will be a great student and accept me. (hopefully Emory, U of Chicago or Michigan!... but I am really not that picky!)
-an Mp3 player
-those two beautiful coats I saw at the mall lat week.
-to lose 10 pounds so I can look good during spring break!
-For my Mom and Dad to a) have no problem selling the house for a great price and b) to both find very well-paying jobs where they want to live.
- $$!
-A sherling coat to give to my Mom for Christmas, an Alligator belt for my Dad, and a motorcycle for my sister.

Well, for starters... I would like a certain ex-boyfriend / current best friend of mine to realize that he is NOT too busy to look for a girlfriend, and that I'm still here (we broke up at the end of last year because of distance over summer, but we stayed best friends. Hang out all the time, he invited me to their Mtn. Weekend, i stay over there and nothing happenes.. it's nice to cuddle - but him and i are REALLY good friends.. oh hell im confused)

anyway, back to the list:
- safe trips home for EVERYONE
- some new clothes
- digital camera (not sure though... cause i NEED hard copies of pictures... I can always scan them... so maybe a credit to a film developing place...)

- more work out clothes [gotta keep myself motivated]

OK I doubt I will get one single thing from this list...

I was in front of Tiffany & Co. on 57th Street. I love the star that they put up every year.

As for Christmas gifts, I am getting exactly what I want - bedrrom furniture. :D :cool: :) It will be delivered on Dec. 10th! :)

Dear Santa--

I'm pretty sure I've been good this year, so this is my list:

1) a new CD R/W for my computer

2) to get a sponsor and eventually initiated into you-know-which sorority. <g>

3) for my husband to either start liking the job he's at, or find one that he really does enjoy

4) for my FIL to continue recovering from surgery.

5) to be able to tell my parents about wanting to join a sorority and not having them be THAT confused and wrinkle their noses at it like they did when I was in college.

6) to be able to stay in shape after pregancy.

THANK you so much for makiinng 3 1/2 of my 2001 wishes come true, ESPECIALLY the boyfriend, who is so much better than I could have ever dreamed up on my own!! You RoCK!

We're planning to make that 1/2 unfulfilled one come true when we go to Paris this spring. woo hoo! (I figure the serious intent and plan to go is worth 1/2 of it.. Lol)
