One thing I've noticed about my own book purchasing habits since I got my Kindle is that it hasn't gone down. I buy about a third of my books in eBooks and 2/3 in print. Part of it, for me, is that books are more than just books. I like the feeling of holding them, I like to surround myself with them, and my apartment is a testiment to that.

I like the Kindle for how light it is and how many books I can have going and carry with me at one time.

I spend just as much time in B&N or Borders - I love perusing and reading the staff recommendations.

This is why I won't buy a Kindle. :)

There's just something about the feel of the paper as you turn the page. The crispness of new paper and the smell of old, it's absolutely amazing. I'm so glad my nephew loves books. I don't know I'd do if he didn't.
