At the end of the day, the X-Men and Venom are among the best comic book characters.
With all of the immigration and terrorism talk in America, we really need to bring back Captain America and G.I. Joe. Excellent examples of how these characters are signs of the times. ETA: I just saw this http://paralleluniverse.msn.com/feat...ory/?gt1=28140 Oh hell no. |

Sweetie....where have you been? Captain America is about to be a movie and his comic is still a top selling comic and GI Joe...is still GI Joe. You lose 10 geek cred points and skip a turn |
Batman's still the best.
But the X-men are good too when they're making a horrendous movie. |

2. Captain America was assassinated and replaced with Bucky and just returned to life with a story arc that just completed earlier this year 3. I don't know about the reaching out part because I know where I am he's still popular with a lot of people BUT...at the same time....Batman has had 2 successful movies. Plus you know about the Thor movie that is coming right? |
They're building up an Avengers movie. No, Thor and Cap haven't been as big and out there as some of the other comic heroes, but that's changing as the Iron Man movies have done well.
GI Joe doesn't really have a place right now. I think it'll do OK with the movie series they started, but it's too associated with the cheesy classic cartoon. |
^^^ Hey watch it with the cheesy!!!
