Dr. Phil:

Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate them.

:) Ellebud

Christopher Meloni is my boo but I've seen better photos.

I think I was involved somehow during this recruitment. What year was it? I'm guessing about 2003? I vaguely remember the 3 days of round 1 I think.

I got it... and snorted. Sometimes I'm not so ladylike.

Ellebud, even though we're about the same age, I really want you to adopt me. :)

yeah train wreck!!! but i do possiblybelieve the part about ADPi "Praying" the first night... I found a song in our song book entitled Sisterhood Prayer, its definately a song but is sorta prayerish and ends in AMEN... and is listed a song to be used during early recruitment... not quite sure why honestloy though

homeward*bound: Anytime you're in socal drop on by! Thank you so much for your kind words. And since my children have made it totally clear that we (husband and I) somehow blunder through life, with THEIR guidance to help us (if you remember my daughter's recruitment thread), thank you.

(And yes, I am fully aware that we do know...most of the time...what we are doing.:) )

SERIOUSLY. The cherry red stapler guy in Office Space? A 20 year old version of that. And I thought well...looks aren't everything...so I tried to engage him in conversation. He answered all my questions with one word answers and didn't ask me anything. He left halfway through the party and I didn't even notice.

I've seen better CM photos too (I was looking for one of him wearing a thermal undershirt, DROOL) but I couldn't find them.

I don't know if that was the right TriDeltSallie thread (there are a few that were closed) so Barbie's going to have to tell me if I was right.

Y'all know Chris Meloni uses hair in a can, right? :p

Don't be a Bitter Bobby just because he gets to look at Mariska's rack all day and you don't. :D

in a pledge class with people who treated you badly
For the record no one in my house or pledge class treated me poorly at all. That's actually the opposite of what I was essentially trying to convey.

The reason I quoted this story as sad was because at the time, I was too insecure to overcome these issues and become Greek. But no matter whether I did or not, the girls still supported me no matter what. I COULD have gained more from that if I had chosen to take advantage of it, but I didn't. This is a story for potential PNM's that have doubts to basically say, if you have those doubts, here's why you may regret them. Not looking for sympathy because I am (even though I guarantee no one believes this nor at this point does it matter) way past it. But I encourage girls with doubts to be stronger people, like the women they admire, the women I admired.

Thank you! :D

Today, that is not so true.... I woke up at 10:30 this morning, late for work and for my 8 AM class because I set my alarm for 6:30 PM. Hurrah.

/end hijack

You could very well have made this point without throwing shade on the chapters at your school, which is why I don't buy this.
