Ok. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I predict (read: HOPE) that Randy is voted out tonight. At this point, almost any of them could go home and I wouldn't care, but if I had my choice, Randy would get his torch snuffed.

I am LOVING this season. Not only did they get rid of the survivor that I hate the most, they did it in such a sneaky way!

Tonight had to be one of the best tribal councils in the history of Survivor. I can't wait to read Jeff's blog at ew.com for his take on it. Personally, my vote is with Bob. He has an uphill battle, but I am looking forward to seeing if he can overcome it.

Oh man! I laughed through the entire second half of the episode last night. I almost felt bad for a second, but then thought.. what better way to get rid of the most obnoxious person on the show!
As much as I don’t like Crystal, I hate Randy even more, and when she was voting and talking loud enough for everyone else to hear, that was awesome. And even Charlie and Marcus were laughing after Randy left. And I love the way Jeff actually explained what happens when someone uses an immunity idol before saying that it wasn't real. It was classic. And Bob is my hero! I can’t believe he did that. But honestly, it was probably his only chance to make nice with the other alliance. Next week should be interesting though, with the ACTUAL second idol possibly coming into play. If it does, Bob could gain Corinne's trust back and screw over the other alliance. But he’d probably be stupid to do that, as they still outnumber him by a great deal. I almost see his telling Corinne about the immunity idol as the beginning of some plan to have them take her out before him. But we’ll see. |

1) If it were going to matter later, wouldn't we have seen Marcus tell Bob? 2) If Bob knew where it was, would he have said, while on Exile Island, that he needed the idol because he was in "deep doo doo" in the tribe? 3) If he really knew where it was, wouldn't it have made sense for him to let Corinne and Randy in on it last week, so that it was Sugar and company blindsided? 4) I still have the episode where Charlie was voted out on DVD. At the "previously, on Survivor" part at the beginning, they show the bottle floating in the water, and there is clearly something tied around it. But Thursday night was classic. It was simply amazing how sure Corinne and Randy were that Bob would find the idol -- I guess because, as Corinne says, Sugar is so stupid she'd never find it. And I loved Randy declaring it an "accolade" to get voted out by those "losers." |

I’m not really disagreeing with you about Bob bluffing (because we all know he’s sneaky as hell!), but you never know… 1.) “…wouldn’t we have seen Marcus tell Bob?” … Welcome to editing. The producers could have just left that out to make the show more interesting and to have everyone wonder. 2.) I can definitely see your point here. But at the same time, maybe he just wanted a second one? 3.) Not necessarily. He knew that there was a very good chance of him going home last week. With the way he’s been playing, I highly doubt that he’d just come right out and tell Randy and Corinne about the idol if he thought he could play it off using the fake one first (which obviously worked). 4.) Again, a very good possibility that the idol is still out there in the middle of the ocean. If it is, and this is just another strategic move on Bob’s part (which I’ve already said would not be a surprise at all), and it actually works to get Corinne voted off, then Bob is officially a genius. And if this is a bluff, and Corinne leaves, Bob should simultaneously be trying to get Sugar and Matty on his side. I think his only hope would be to have Matty and Sugar match up with him without anyone else knowing, to have the two of them convince Crystal and Kenny to vote out Susie, while telling them that Bob will be voted out at the following tribal council.. but not really. Then... Matty, Sugar and Bob take out Crystal and Kenny after that, and they’ll be guaranteed the top 3 spots. This would probably leave each of them with a pretty even chance of winning. |
I hate the recap show. I forgot that it's usually a recap show on Thanksgiving.
|
i watched survior during the first few seasons. then it got boring and i stopped watching. this one is actually pretty good. i am glad to see the recap because i missed half of it.
the recap show aired some of the people's casting videos. corrinne said she attended school in florida and was in a sorority. does anyone know which one? |
She was in ZTA

I'm officially rooting for Sugar. Corrine is a bitch who needs to STFU, especially in her current situation. Sugar may be an out-of-work waitress, but she's been the most powerful player most of the game. Corrine can SAY that the jury would never vote for Sugar, but in the end, it's almost always come down to gameplay, rather than who pissed less people off.

I love Sugar. I think she's way more powerful in this game than people think.

It just seems really odd to me that if Bob knew there was an immunity idol hidden somewhere at camp, he wouldn't have already claimed it. I guess we'll see Thursday. Quote:

What they COULD do (if Corinne leaves this week) is tell those three that everyone is going to blindside Sugar. Secretly, Sugar knows this and uses the immunity idol. Those votes for her won't count, and Matty, Sugar and Bob all vote for either Crystal, Kenny or Susie. And did anyone see the preview for the next episode? They briefly showed Bob and Corinne talking, and then Bob says to the camera, on his own, that he has an idol. They showed it briefly, but I didn't see if it was real. I'm guessing it is, though. And they also said that there's a marriage proposal... what?! |
