Oh how awful.

I remember how I felt when the doctors at the hospital where my mother was a patient in the ICU suggested that my father should have her transferred to the palliative care unit. And she led a good, full life.

It hurt hard when I had to bury my mother. Nobody should have to bury a child.

I lost my uncle to leukemia in January. A soror in my chapter may lose her father to the same disease and today (March 16th) marks one year since the passing of AGDLynn. I just feel like there is so much sadness happening around me and I'm absorbing it all. I ask for prayers and encouraging thoughts for my sorority sister and all the people affected by this horrible disease.

Positive thoughts and or prayers requested: after close to two years out of my field, I have an first round interview for a job. This is a job that I applied for as a stretch.

Thanks. I didn't really want prayer for me since I'm not the one losing a loved one but I appreciate prayers sent my way as well. I'm having a rough time accepting all the emotional energy around me without taking it all in. There is so much sadness everywhere and I'm struggling with the fact that my life is going so well when the people I love are struggling. It's just really hard especially when I don't have anyone to talk to about it--at least not in the way I need to talk. Many of the people I rely on are "doers." They want to take over and give me advice and tell me what to do and not to do with my feelings and that is simply not helpful. I wish they understood that.

Update: My soror lost her father yesterday and another lost her mother last week. It is a sad time for our chapter.

Please pray for my father. Today is is 80th birthday, and something happened this evening that makes me wonder if he'll have an 81st birthday.

SWTXBelle's niece is currently lost at a marina in Texas. Please pray that Kitty is found safely! There have been conflicting reports.

Five years ago, I asked you to pray for the safe delivery of my niece, Fiona Grace (called Kitty).
Last night, Texas Equusearch recovered her body from the marina in which she had drowned.

My heart is not broken; it is shattered.
