45 laps today. Felt good on an unexpected 103 degree day where swimming was about the only good outdoor exercise option.

LucyKKG 09-03-2008 01:07 AM

I ran 2.5 miles. I waited til pretty late to start because it was so flippin' hot. I went to my high school track, and I thought the track lights would come on...but they never did. I had to cut my run short cause I couldn't see. Sadness!

gphi426 09-03-2008 07:02 AM

I walked back and forth from my desk to the copier all afternoon yesterday. does that count? hahaa

EE-BO 09-03-2008 05:58 PM

It seems like it should. During month close or running payroll back when I worked in an office, I cannot count how many times I would have to go dashing to the printer to pull confidential stuff before anyone saw it.

1 hour of racquetball today followed by 45 minutes of heavy lifting in the weight room. Definitely tested my limits today- still tired 3 hours later.

BetteDavisEyes 09-03-2008 06:46 PM

I did 40 minutes of Power 90 sculpt but then shot it to hell by drinking a grande mint mocha chip frappuccino from Starbucks. :(

I have no self-control.

I went jogging at 12:30 PM, almost heat stroked doing the 3 mile loop at the lake-not smart! I didn't realize how hot it got yesterday.

starang21 09-03-2008 10:54 PM

aggieAXO 09-04-2008 11:42 AM

Yikes! LOL- I did not think about that.

ADqtPiMel- that is a pretty awesome swim distance!

Thanks! I only swim once a week now as cross training since I'm focused on running, so I try to get as much distance in as I have time for.

45 minute tempo run on the books for tonight...my first half marathon of the season is next weekend!

BetteDavisEyes 09-04-2008 05:57 PM

I did 50 minutes of Power 90 Cardio/Abs.

Still, that is great distance. Granted I do a lot of speedwork and butterfly, but even so- I am in awe at an 80 lap routine. That is what I need to work up to.

Today I had a 1 hour racquetball lesson that I needed badly. Helped a lot and I hope I can win some games next week.

LucyKKG 09-05-2008 01:33 AM

More running. It was mediocre though. Blah!

ThetaPrincess24 09-05-2008 07:52 AM

I took my medications and will be helping my college chapter with the first day of recruitment (for 8 hours).

EE-BO 09-05-2008 07:55 PM

You know how we all like to convince ourselves we can work out just as hard alone as in a group? I was reminded of the fallacy of that notion today.

50 lap practice with the Masters swim team at my club. It was great and right now I am in pain- the good kind where you are sore all over. For some reason I was chosen to be the leader in my lane on my first day- and I just kept going faster and faster hoping I was not slowing everyone up. My fear of being an inconvenience to others overcame my desire to slow down!

Benzgirl 09-05-2008 09:12 PM

55 minutes of stationary bike. About 30 minutes of weights

aggieAXO 09-05-2008 11:00 PM

ran with the trainer this morning then ran by myself tonight. I am sore!

Scandia 09-06-2008 01:23 PM

Again, Body Combat. Yesterday was Body Attack plus some morning stretches and abdominal work. Tomorrow it will be Body Flow and hopefully roller skating as well. And hopefully I will be able to go to Zumba on Monday.

FlaGirl07 09-06-2008 01:34 PM

I'm going to binge drink and watch some FSU football.

Does that count?

Lmao yes.. That's what I do for exercise. :p

Benzgirl 09-06-2008 05:06 PM

75 min. on the bike

navane 09-06-2008 05:12 PM

I skipped my morning workout. Instead, I spent two hours moving furniture, scrubbing and mopping a fire dept. facility. Later today I might do some yoga to help balance out today's 'workout'.

.....Kelly :)

EE-BO 09-06-2008 08:47 PM

20 minutes hill interval on the bike and then 6 sets of ab work. I think this officially ends Saturday being the "rest day." I will keep it light, but I really like doing something every day at this point.

aggieAXO 09-07-2008 12:11 AM

4 mile run

Benzgirl 09-07-2008 11:05 AM

one hour on the bike and 30 minutes of weights

EE-BO 09-07-2008 05:33 PM

50 laps- mostly short drills and speed intervals. Feeling good- my butterfly is finally coming together.

texas*princess 09-07-2008 05:34 PM

i need to start working out again

summer_gphib 09-07-2008 06:46 PM

I just started working out again after a long, long break, and way too many pounds gained. I just did 20 mins. on the treadmill-- and I'm covered in sweat, so tired I can barely move. I feel pathetic. :o But I keep telling myself each step on the treadmill is one in the right direction. It's funny, we got this treadmill (a really nice one with nice built in programs and stuff!) at a thrift shop for $25.00, and I swear I don't think it's EVER been used before. So it is my goal to really break the sucker in.

ADqtPiMel 09-07-2008 09:19 PM

12 mile run.

aggieAXO 09-08-2008 01:08 PM

3 mile run, very hot/humid today

Jill1228 09-08-2008 01:35 PM

Pilates and some resistance training. Will probably do a walk later

aephi alum 09-08-2008 02:36 PM

Spent some time on the bike today.

I've been avoiding my scale like the plague, but my clothes are fitting better.

Benzgirl 09-08-2008 06:23 PM

One hour on the bike

starang21 09-08-2008 06:30 PM

about to run.

BBelleADPi 09-08-2008 06:34 PM

2 mile run...but it took me thirty minutes.

EE-BO 09-08-2008 07:26 PM

1 hour of raquetball followed by a 30 minute workout.

BBelleADPi 09-09-2008 12:04 PM

2 mile run...now 25 minutes!

Benzgirl 09-09-2008 07:39 PM

Came home from work and fell asleep. I only got about 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night and I didn't think I would make it through the day. Tomorrow is the final workout before vacation.
