videos
the philanthropy ones from Sunday are already on the walk to 2010 website.
The archive videos will be available as part of education programming for our collegiate members, so you'll definitely have access to them as soon as we work out those details [if not before!]. That said, did you know that Alpha Gamma Delta IHQ has a you tube account? Videos from VLC are there, and I bet some of these will end up there at some point, too. BTW, I'm proud to be an overachiever! I was fighting a migraine most of convention - felt like I was living on advil. Happy to say that I won this fight - that is rare. Full migraine never fully materialized, but the night at Knibbe Ranch was somewhat difficult for me - particulary the bus ride there and back. Still had fun, but not as much as I would have had without the headache. |

Doc: You should be proud to be an overachiever! |
Day 4 pics and the group pic are up!

I found you but I haven't found me, lol. I can't remember exactly where I was standing in the middle of the crowd at the bottom.
With that dress that I was wearing that looks like I walked into a paint party, lol.;) you'd think I could find me. I'm thinking of donating it somewhere, lol. |
I can't find me either and I pretty much know where I was standing. There are just too many brunettes in black dresses. While this one is OK, the one from Palm Springs was a better setup... at least there was little risk of injury in Palm Springs! I'm sort of OCD about symmetry so the design of this setup bothers that part of me..lol. I like Palm Springs because we were pretty symmetrical.
ETA: Someone on my shuttle back to the airport had this pic and they had imposed a convention logo on the white part under the rail near the top, which looked very cool. I wonder if we order it if that will be on there. |
Just back from Best Buys where I bought a new Ipod:cool:
The BB Clerk admired my red bag:D |
One of the reasons I wore red was because I knew it would be easy to spot me if we did a group picture! :) - And sure enough - I'm easy to spot!
I saw the picture with the Convention logo on it- that is cool. I was very tempted to get one, too. I'm hoping this will be a Quarterly Cover just like last time. I was talking with the photographer and she told me that the last Quarterly Cover actually got them another NPC group's Convention. ETA: Another reason I wore red is because my kids picked out the dress. Another reason is that the dress was majorly on sale ;) |
Some Convention Videos
I just got an email that AGD IHQ has updated convention videos at You Tube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1gvmrAXu28&sdig=1 There are a few unofficial videos that are pretty good, too! |
^^^^Lots of Postings on You Tube. I'm still going through them. Not as good as being there, but the next best thing.
|
I've been watching them too. It makes me want to be there again.

Pictures
Hi everyone. This may be the most silly question on the board, but where can I find the pictures from Convention? I thought I had the right website, but was clearly mistaken. Thank you very much!

Tampa!
So is it time to start a Convention 2010 thread?
|
I'm not sure many of us who are active on GC are going this year. Feel free to start a thread though!

Someday I'll go to Convention. |
Not me. Too expensive when I'm not working with a chapter/club. Even though I could stay with my niece, the Convention price is too much. Unfortunately, I relaize that's pretty much any convention these days and will always be. Too bad, Alpha Gam doesn' thave a humoungeous IHQ where it could be held for free or close, lol.
Maybe it will be in Atlanta before I'm 80. ;) |
I'd love to go to Convention, but it is the same weekend as the ALA annual conference. ALA is on company time and (mostly) company funding -- AGD would not be.
|
I'll be there. And will miss many of you not going :(
