And did anyone know 10 was the maximum number of smilies per post? |
I heard it is extra-helpful to get a male to sponsor you into a salon!
|

And Xylo - I did NOT know there was a smiley limit per post. Isn't that unfair to those people who seek to use mulitple smilies in posting? I think that we should support our community members who may need more than the :) or the :( smilies to get their message across. |

OMG That is totally a sign. Damn your lucky AXO Alum  <---This is you "cool" girl :D |

Aww hell no...don't even try to creep on my man!! AXO---i claim Hickey!! |

But I will tell him that you and aries are interested... he says sometimes a man is just too much for one woman. I think my cousin Hickey would like you both, though - y'all are my friends & you support me in my journey to fulfill my lifelong dream. As long as you don't mind that he helps the homeless people at night - the ones that he delivers those little baggies to & all. Hey - you might even be able to go with him on a date or something. He is always getting lots of cool stuff from people... like those white flip flops he gave me. Hell, you can hardly see the blood on them anymore. I don't think many people even notice when I wear them to church. But if you do go out with him, I want you to know something -- and I love my cousin Hickey, he's a real good guy -- but don't ever look him in the eye... EVER! After he got the metal plates put in his head, sometimes he can't help himself & if you look him in the eye, it reminds him of the time that this rabid squirrel got aholt of him. It was terrible & he always says that he remembers the squirrel staring him down just before attacking. Don't ever tell him I told you that, please. He thinks that it was a government conspiracy & he'll start calling the White House again if he thinks people are "on to him" or something. |

I already saw myself with him. 8 kids, living in a 1 bedroom trailer with 2 dogs...living mediocrately-happy ever after. I guess I *could* share him with aries and T*P...if that will make STUDLY Hickey happy :( :o |
Ok I bit and laughed my ass off. The 30 minutes it took me to get through all 15 pages was worth it. I cant remember who had the "Thank God a moderator showed up" post but when I read that I lost it. Thanks for the laughs.

AXO Alum...after you successfully HT...you will be writing the Great Canadian Novel about your experience with HT, right?
|
Make it a Choose Your Own Adventure. How much of it is about HT is UP TO YOU!
|
AXO, I have SUPER news for you. I was digging around online and I found the secret HT process for Jasmin! I guess someone who was unhappy with their HT copied the entire process straight from the Jasmin secret book. It explains everything (how they select patients, what the salon techs wear while performing the HT, what "Jasmin" really stands for, EVERYTHING).
If for some reason, Jasmin HT doesn't happen for you (although I'm SURE it will b/c you are totally the type of patient they're looking for - a little birdie told me that), you can still know everything you would if you had actually gone through the process. You can wear Jasmin salon items, and if anyone ever questions your salon affiliation, you can tell them stuff from the secret book. No one will ever know the difference. Let me know if you want me to send it to you. It's REALLY cool. (In fact, I'm now thinking about looking into HT with another salon just so I'll know the secret process for more than one salon. Imagine - hardly anyone in the world is privvy to TWO HT processes!) |
Why send it to her? Post it here so we can all learn!
|
I hadn't thought about going that far. What if Jasmin found out? Could their people find out who I am and sue me for some kind of copyright violation or something? I'd hate to get into real trouble. Plus, other salons might find out what I've done to Jasmin and keep me from succeeding with HT at their salon. I'd just die if I didn't get to HT somewhere.

Hey guys!!!
So I haven't heard back from anyone despite all of the calls I've made...and I was in NY last week for work, so I took it upon myself to visit the Kermit salon. To make a long story short, I got escorted out by security :( Apparently they don't like people coming around and asking about HTs :( |
Aww. ((((hugs)))) I'm so sorry, t*p. You'll find a home somewhere. Don't give up on your dream. There are still plenty other salons to look at.
|
Opening up a salon takes a lot of hard work, time and dedication. Not to mention the insurance and tax money that's involved. I wouldn't recommend it to any shopper looking for a quick fix.

I too decided to be a little more pro-active & called the President of the "Snow White" salon. I had sent over some pictures & unfortunately, she told me that some clients had heard about me on GC & had determined that I wouldn't be a good fit for them. She said that I was not being discreet enough & was trying to search for a quick & easy way to become an HT client versus going through the process like all the other ones did -- I tried to tell her this was my journey to fulfill a lifelong dream, but no use :( I feel certain that I know which GC'ers turned me in, and I am not planning on outing them (yet) but I would like for you all to be more supportive of us. We never got the chance in college to get HT's like some of you did. Some of us didn't have the money, or the time, or the social skills to be accepted -- but we are changing that now. We are buying shoes that we can't afford (much less walk in), wearing underwear from Vicky's Secret that barely covers the you-know-where, and cutting back to wearing only one plaid a week -- there are sacrifices that we are trying to make to fulfill our dreams!! So we should be ushered to the front of the line -- I don't care how long others have waited in line, I want to become an HT client & I want it now!! |

Because I don't want balding, white-trash shoppers ruining my salon's prestige and reputation.
|
Maybe you should think about what your NAME CALLING is doing to that reputation!! A little birdie told me your salon took away your frequent-blowout privileges.
|
You may want to check your sources before posting. As I understand, you are a jourstronaut and should therefore know the importance of fact-checking. My salon didn't take away any privileges from me. I chose to get my hair chemically straightened, therefore making my need for blow dries obsolete.
|
I'm actually an astro-reporter. Check YOUR sources.
You can spin it however you want, but you are part of a "psycho" group who is bound and determined to keep women from the hair transplant of their dreams just because they may be a little different from you. That Queen Bee syndrome can't be hid under any amount of chemical straightening. |
AXOAlum - thanks so much for the idea of pictures!!!
I scheduled my Glamour Shots photo session today and will be going in 2 days. OMG I'm so excited! So despite them knowing who I am, Kermit didn't call me today. Miss Piggy sent me an email !!! OMG I'm so excited! I think I may try to go forward this one. They are having a brunch next weekend and they said that even though I don't know any of them, I can show up to meet everyone!!!!! Things are still kind of standing still with Gonzo.. since I have already had some conversations with them I think they are OK. I'm not sure if they are the salon for me? |
I haven't seen any recent HT recipients say anything negative about this thread. If they did I missed it.

I had a dream about my HT salon and that's how I knew it was the place for me. Maybe you'll get a sign too. For the record you are the only PNHT I approve of in pursuing this process which is why I rec'd you to my salon. |

greekalum - I had no idea you were an astro-reporter too! My cousin Hickey has a friend who does that!!!!!eleventy!!!11!!! He says that she studies stars or something & then reports to people about what the stars say. He says she's real good too - she knows stuff that other people don't know nothing about. He says I should contact her about my HT chances. But my cousin Hickey says she stays real busy -- she helps people too, on the weekends she teaches self-defense (like karate & stuff) to people that help my cousin Hickey. She teaches them how to disarm people & a mean-ass judo chop that can knock a line-backer sized cop down. Now I don't know why she'd want to teach people that stuff, but my cousin Hickey says sometimes cops don't like what he does to help those people on the streets. He says the cops don't want him giving out those little baggies & that they have tried to arrest him before for that stuff. I mean that is ree-diculos! You would think cops would want people like my cousin Hickey out on the streets helping homeless people. But you know how the government is... Anyways, t*p -- I can't wait to hear how the Glamour shots turn out. Make sure that you wear something VERY conservative. You don't want to be showing too much skin or else they may think you are a wild woman. (But if you want to take a couple of those pictures where you are half naked, I am sure that my cousin Hickey would be THRILLED to see those!) |
OMG on a side-note, I just heard that the JUDO CHOP was the #1 move of the century. They teach it at all the major judo places

I find it so funny that some of the people who are so anti-HT were all for discussion of HT when they were getting THEIR HTs. They thought no one would find out but it is OBVIOUS when you search through their old posts they are HT hypocrits.
Q! F! Hassenpfeffer Incorporated! |
I am totally willing to travel across the US to help you get a HT if I am not busy at Haaaaaaahvard.
