Michigan fans need to stop whining. You won, get over yourselves. And they aren't innocent, they've trolled PSU related messageboards and basically become cocky over a last minute win. I was angry but it was a good game and I didn't hate Michigan fans until now. I can see why Ohio State hate yall so much.

I highly doubt that a large enough group of Michigan student section sold their tickets to PSU fans.

I don't think it's whining. Yeah they shouldn't be writing stupid messages like that... that's childish and immature and being a sore loser and it's kind of embarrassing if it is going beyond the "woohoo we beat you haha" that everyone does. But at least they're not doing physical and monetary damage to something that the mature people are trying to enjoy. I'm not saying that UM fans haven't done stupid shit in the past. (I've personally never seen it but I'm sure they did) I'd be saying the same thing about them and I'm sure a Michigan official (coach, whatever) would say something. It's embarrassing.

And don't hate on me for taking pride in something that I love. I'm not on the boards making fun of PSU fans, am I? So no need to sit there and say "Blah blah I hate Michigan fans now, no wonder everyone hates Michigan".

I could say that I hate Wisconsin fans for the almost fight my car had with one of their cars a few years ago, but that's also childish.

Harris Poll | USA Today |

The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame
is responsible for the weekly tabulation and release of the Bowl Championship Series Standings.

EXPLANATION:
Team percentages are derived by dividing a team's actual voting points by a maximum 2850 possible points in the Harris Interactive Poll and 1550 possible points in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Six computer rankings calculated in inverse points order (25 for #1, 24 for #2, etc.) are used to determine the overall computer component. The best and worst ranking for each team is dropped, and the remaining four are added and divided by 100 (the maximum possible points) to produce a Computer Rankings Percentage. The six computer ranking providers are Anderson & Hester, Richard Billingsley, Colley Matrix, Kenneth Massey, Jeff Sagarin, and Peter Wolfe. Each computer ranking accounts for schedule strength in its formula.

The BCS Average is calculated by averaging the percent totals of the Harris Interactive, USA Today Coaches and Computer polls.

On January 4, 2006 the Rose Bowl will host the BCS National Championship Game and determine which team will be presented The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame's MacArthur Trophy, awarded to college football's National Champion since 1959, as well as the ADT National Championship Trophy on behalf of the American Football Coaches Association.

I just watched "Trojan Rewind" on Fox Sports West.

Holey shit I got tingles down my spine all over again.

Truly the best college game I've ever seen, and probably will ever see.

Good game Hawkeyes.

I'm so excited that my Cyclones decided to show up yesterday and win. It made for a great Homecoming. Four interceptions in the second half! :) Hopefully this team decides to show up next week at College Station. At least I'll get to watch it, I hate only being able to listen to the games on the radio.

Shockley is out for the Florida game but will be back vs Auburn. Unless the Georgia defense can shut Florida down, Georgia's undefeated season probably will end without Shockley.

TristanDSP 10-24-2005 01:35 PM

"We were really focusing on and determined that, 'We're going to win the second half. We have got to win the second half,'" said Craft, "and we did 21-17."

A) New Mexico still won 47-24.....and was up 30-3 at the half. With that...
B) You scored 21 points on their second stringers.

Who knew better players would rather go to New Mexico than San Diego....what a sad testiment to our program.

What an assinine thing to say after a loss......again, if this were Florida and ROn Zook, he'd be WAY out, but this is SDSU, and no one REALLY cares enough to do anything.

Enjoy it while it lasts. If both USC and UT win out, USC will regain #1 in BCS due to strength of schedule. The flip happened this week because UT played #10 Tech while we played the weakest team in our conference. We still have the ranked Cal, UCLA, and Fresno State on our schedule (and have already played ranked (at least at the time) ASU, Oregon and Notre Dame) while as I understand it, UT has no more ranked teams until possibly the conference championship? We play WA State, Stanford, Cal over next three weeks. USC should retake the lead no later than after the Cal game. Only the computers have UT ahead and that is based on this week's strength of schedule. And yeah UT played a tougher team than we did this week. But the rest of our sched looks a bit tougher than UTs does. Frankly, UCLA scares me. ;)

lifesaver 10-25-2005 02:21 AM

USC fans and UT fans should all be routing for each other AND VT, Georgia, 'Bama, UCLA, etc. If they all win then it throws the system into chaos, and only if there is a total breakdown in the BCS system, will we ever stand a chance of moving into an actual playoff system.

Am enjoying Texas being ranked #1.

Thanks! I went in thinking it would be a closer game. We had some Tech fans sitting in my section and I will say they cheered their team and stayed till the end. Everyone was very civil - and it's not always like that with some schools we play.

The guy I co-advise with is a Ball State grad and has this story he tells us that the reason the cardinals suck so bad this year is because some alum paid the school $3 million to take a dive this season to all the teams.

Or it could be that they just suck.

Being realistic, what do you believe? Would it be worth NCAA sanctions and possible criminal action for all of the teams to take a dive?

Or, could it be that they just suck?

Has anyone seen the ESPN commercial where a little kid dressed up as a Trojan for halloween walks up to a door , rings the bell and says trick or treat when the door open. The guy answering the door has a UCLA sweatshirt on, sees the kid in the trojan costume and shuts the door in the kid's face without giving him any candy. The kids leaves looking sad.

Georgia lost to Florida. No surprize seeing the starting Qb was injuried and did not play at all.

Shockley will be back vs Auburn and still can clinch the SEC East with a win against them.
