MANNNN! ATSB & BTBS are my sole addiction (well, them and chocolate, but you know...) but when the episodes are late, i can't stand it... WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ATSB???? anyone know something i don't???

ADoP tends to get very busy around his Step Afrika, dance group. So I try to be understanding during the repeated times where I see the same description for the episode. But when he comes back, the episodes are good. It's a trade off. Hope he gets back to writing soon.


Some needs to send this to BET. This would make for good TV. And Lord knows BET will put ANYTHING on!

I'd rather not see that as a show. The last thing our organizations need is for BET to have a hand in how we are portrayed. No thanks. I'll pass.

I went to the website, and they said the domain was expired! Anybody know what happened?

I guess he only had that domain name for a specified amount of time, and that time expired before he could renew it.

Man...that was the only soap I that ever interested me...and it was by accident. Fiya nevertheless. They need to go 'head n bring dat "bak like a brazire hook". lol

Here is the explanation I recieved from ADOP. Still, I'mma still need him to get it together and get the soap back up!

To All my Fans and Family of As the Sands Burn,
This is ADoP. I know that everyone misses ATSB. Honestly, I miss it too. I need to give my fans a little background on what is going on with the site.

The site went down on May 3rd because we decided to switch server companies. Since that time, it has taken over a month to get any kind of response from the company that had ATSB on its servers. But after FINALLY hearing something from them, they are informing me that they are having a hard time finding my files. What that means is, they may have lost ALL of my episodes for ALL 5 seasons of ATSB and the 2 seasons of Beyond.

Now, I do have most of the files. But my archives on my laptop are not very thorough for season 1 and 2. And I know that I do not have the BET.com episodes. So those would be totally gone.

So as much as you guys miss reading ATSB, I miss writing it even more.

To answer a few questions,
I cannot email the episode to fans. The episodes are written in a software called Dreamweaver, not Microsoft Word. If I emailed you a file, you would not be able to open it.

I cannot post a season finale because I have no where to post it to. The server company is having difficulty finding my domain, which means that I have no place to put my website.

I am still writing, currently I am doing The Saved and The Restless and my new book Jewels debuts next week Tuesday.

I hope this email clears up a few things. Please forward this to all fans of As the Sands Burn, Beyond the Burning Sands and The Saved and The Restless. I thank each of you for your kind words and support. If I can get this thing straightened out with the server company, then ATSB will be back. I hope I can work that out. I was just with ADoP a couple weeks ago. He's still having issues with the server company. Believe me...he knows how much we miss it....I remind him on a constant basis!

Is anyone still keeping up? I remembered it today, and read the last few episodes. Old characters are back for Homecoming!! :D
It's a tribute to the 10th anniversary, and will run the entire month of August.

There's Buck, Miya, Sharonda, Gregg, Mike, June, & Denise so far. The only one who had a little drama revealed so far is Denise.

I am and I love how they brought the old characters back.

I've been keeping up, and yes it was so good to see the old characters back....I remembered basically the old drama or some of it...but I didn't remember Denise getting with Brenden after she and Brandon broke up. I know that Brandon pledged Sigma, but was Brenden pledging Kappa, or did he want to be a Kappa, and I think he was pledging the band frat...hell I can't remember, but dam it the month of August is going to be good for ATSB's.

If I remember correctly Valerie Edwards was married to the coach that buck use to play for.
