Their 24-year-old station wagon runs on much cheaper fuel: recycled vegetable oil.

Hitting the road for five months, the couple and their 4-year-old son toured 11 countries in a Volkswagen powered by waste grease they collected from restaurants and fried-food factories along the way.

Maybe Soror 9DSTPM'S HMDC needs to do the same thing.

Doctor Jailed for Billing for Sex

PORTLAND, Oregon (Reuters) - An Oregon doctor, who had sex with a patient and then charged the state about $5,000 for his "treatments," has been jailed for 60 days and stripped of his license, officials said on Friday.

Dr. Randall J. Smith, 50, told the woman that massaging her "trigger points" would ease her pelvic pain.

I wonder why the fine is $1,105 and not, say, $1000 or $2000? What's the $105 about?

This story is a little hard to believe unless the woman was just that stupid!

stardusttwin 06-21-2004 06:44 PM

Actually there was a time when women were treated for "hysteria"...which in essence was they went to the DR and he "massaged" those spots that obviously their husbands weren't reaching :p ...after a few sessions the uptight woman would relax and be able to return to her normal life...or maintain a steady regiment of therapy in order to maintain their sanity ;) ....

Clearly it was consensual. However, as her doctor it was unethical. Also, I think the bigger problem is billing the insurance companies for their trysts.

blackerican 06-21-2004 09:07 PM

I can't believe that he billed the insurance company for their affair!!! And I can't believe that the female allowed her "trigger points" to be massaged.....he could have told her what to do and she and her husband could have done the ding dang thing!!!! Talk about stupid!!

This happens quite often at my one chain of theaters here.

They have those sound-proof "cry rooms". These are rooms for families with little ones, so the grown ups can see the movie without disturbing everyone else with fussy little ones.

Its set up just like the rest of the theater except its in the back behind a glass wall. Take this (sound-proff), mix in a dark theater and add the fact that this theater's seats recline all the way back, I am willing to bet that there are a lot of "fooling around" going on back there.
