18 year old Catie was live in LA via satellite on NY TV - taking calls from the viewing public. Her hair has grown and it looks fabulous. Her hair looks so much better now. She looks so beautiful it’s amazing. I did NOT like this girl, so the compliment is most genuine. Not exact quotes but here’s what you missed …

Caller # 1 - Why are you afraid of heights? You did it once so why were you afraid again.
Catie - I did it once. It was not as hard but I’ve finally conquered that fear since leaving the show.
Caller # 2 - By the expression on your face, did you really think you were staying?
Catie - Yes I was shocked. I didn’t know I’d be going so soon
Caller # 3 - What did you learn from this experience?
Catie - It opened my eyes (seeing myself on the show). Learned about modeling industry.
Caller # 4 - They encouraged change on the show. Did you change you or settle into your self?
Catie - I’m finally comfortable with myself. Yeah, I’m better.
Caller # 5 - Why didn’t you kiss him passionately?
Catie - I don’t know
News Person - Did it really have anything to do with your boyfriend?
Catie - No it had nothing to do with my boyfriend.
Caller # 6 - What do you plan on doing now?
Catie - I’m going to do some print work. Voice-overs. Acting

Catie - Keep going for it. There is a place in this industry for everybody. Keep working at it and you’ll find your place

Catie - I wish I hadn’t shown my real emotions. But I have not regrets because it was reality television and I was being myself.
News Person - Do you think Camille will make it or get kicked off next week?
Catie - I really don’t know. I never had a problem with her.

Even though I can't stand Camille, I was too happy to see Crybaby Catie go. Especially with the faces she made while crying. I know everyone doesn't look cute when they cry but really.

Tyra is supposedly singing the theme song to the show, though I have never heard it. From what they were saying, she was going to have a female impersonator instead of herself in the video. We shall see.

For those who saw it last night, where do you live b/c here in DE the 76ers were playing on UPN. I was soooo upset b/c it started (they showed previous episode highlights) to come on and then all of a sudden commentators where talking about A.I. not starting.

I love bball and A.I., but I wanted to see if Camille was getting the boot.

Camille survives. I am a true Camille fan. I know she can get on other's nerve. But you have to give it to the girl. She had an allergic reaction and she did not focus all her energy on her problem. She went to the first photo, travel to the doctor to get her medication, and made it to acting course (she was horrible).

My critique. Like I mention before this was a stunt to get rid of Camille. Camille still survive. It will take a lot to get rid of her.
Any other contestants, would have cried buckets of tears.

Some of you don't like her attitude, but you got to accept the fact that Camille is a survivor. She will not let any obstacle stand in her way.

If Camille does not win, she will have a modeling contract with some respectable modeling agencies. My guess is Tyra's manager from IMG.

ETA: I liked her attitude about her allergy. SHe did her work, didn't complain too much, got her drugs and took her behind BACK to work.

i enjoyed this week's episode, and i'm happy catie is gone. she was truly getting on my nerves. i have a sneaking suspicion that april will be the next top model.

btw, have any of you guys seen that mini-series "the corner" (if not, check it out). well tyra's actress friend played the geek monster ronnie in that. she looks great out of character....the only reason i recognized her was because of her voice.

I KNEW that her voice sounded familiar!!! She does look much better out of character.

Fans of UPN's America's Next Top Model know this week's castoff, Catie Anderson — she's the petite, pixie-haired pain in the derriere. Tyra's brood of wannabe starlets is full of weepy, dramatic females, but Catie's had some memorable moments. Like throwing herself down on her bed in tears. Or aggravating the already difficult Camille. And stabbing Xiomara in the back. Here, TV Guide Online rings up Model's teen terror to dish her dirty work.

TV Guide Online: During the "Dear John Letter" exercise, why were the girls freaking out? I smelled ham. Everyone was too hysterically angry and crying.

Catie: It was our time to vent. It was very surreal how looking at this blank sheet of paper could stir up so many emotions. We were all stressed out, frustrated and emotionally and physically tired to the breaking point. Those were very real emotions.

TVGO: Hmmm... My mom says women who live together often take on the same monthly cycle. Were y'all totally PMS-ing?

Catie: [Laughs] Oh, yeah. That probably had a little to do with it!


TVGO: In acting class, why was it so hard to kiss Mark Collier from As The World Turns? Did he have bad breath or what?

Catie: No! It was just strange for me to passionately kiss a guy without even having a conversation with him first.

TVGO: Other Model contestants didn't mind smooching the soap star.

Catie: Some of the girls were crazy for testosterone. I know Shandi was incredibly attracted to him. She was fanning herself, like, "Whoa, this boy is hot!" It was so cute.

TVGO: Xiomara told me you two made up off screen. But before that, she told America you were two-faced. Were you?

Catie: I don't think I was consciously doing that. I don't think I was fake or manipulative; I was just frustrated and needed to voice my opinions, since I'd been holding things in. But Xiomara and I totally patched things up. She's my best friend from the show, and I love her to death.

TVGO: Why did Tyra and the judges reject you?

Catie: Even after watching the show, I don't know what they're looking for. In this last episode, I just went back to being me. They didn't like me as a Plain Jane, but that's just who I am! I was so confused. At 19, I'm still figuring everything out for myself. Trying to please the judges confused me over the top.

TVGO: Have you had your fill of posing and catwalking yet?

Catie: When I did the show, I wasn't up to the challenge. But doing this show is the best thing that could've happened to me. I think I'm mature for my age, but I had never done modeling before and I had a lot to learn. I'm totally sticking with modeling. If you know anyone, tell them I am available!
