The clips are up on youtube.
Beyonce sang the HELL out of Listen!!! Wow! Crunktastical has the Oprah links. Just scroll down. |
I saw it too

Beyonce really did sing beautifully at the end of the show. |
OK since no one mentioned it...why was Jennifer dressed so, um...blah...compared to Beyonce and the other young lady? I mean, maybe that's her style but it seems like she had more style on American Idol from the clips. The dress and hair didn't do it.
Eddie's face did look odd, like his skin was stretched too tight or something. I loved Beyonce singing "Listen" at the end, I might have to pick up the soundtrack. |

I think Eddie is just getting old. Old + low body fat % =stretchy wierd skin on a lot of people (LL anyone?).

To me, Eddie looked like he took a hit of some kind of substance before he got on.
I agree with the comments about Jennifer. It looked like her wig needed adjusting. The guy who got the passes was a trip! I was laughing at Jamie when the fan tried to hug him. |
Dreamgirls
I finally saw Oprah featuring the cast of Dreamgirls.
Beyonce ripped that song! She looked absolutely stunning. Jamie and Oprah...I think Oprah wants Jamie to hit that! :D ;) Jennifer Hudson looked really pretty! I'm so proud of her. I wish she performed as well, but I guess there's only one star: BEYONCE! Eddie, oh Eddie. You look bad! It really saddened me to see him look so broken down. His lips were charred, his eyes looked worn, bags were under his eyes. I don't know. He didn't look like Marcus Graham from Boomerang. Where was he?! Oprah really pissed me off when she played the dude that had front row seats. Dang, he couldn't embrace Beyonce good enough before she told him to take his seat. Twice. She didn't even give him a second to say thank you for tickets to the premier show. Am I the only one that was like  when she did that him. She played him. Overall, good show. I'm going to see Dreamgirls Christmas day with the fam. |
Tuesday: MJB and Corrine Bailey Rae

Now you know Mimi wasn't going to give up those revealing clothes. But they are looking better, so she must have taken some advice. Now, about today's episode... JHud looked good, but she's always wearing black! But her sister had looked just like her (but bigger). I understand why, but I really wished she said One Night Only or I Am Changing (I loved it when she sang that on Letterman). I guess Oprah had to have her on because she's getting all of the attention and not B. And I'm glad that Oprah and her about the rumors about her and B. I just realized that 3 of the 5 best actress nominees are British! |

I didn't see the entire show. I'll have to watch later to hear what song JHud sings. |
She sang "I Love You I Do". The reason she sang it was because it was also nominated.

I'm sorry. :p :D

Although I love that song, I still haven't had time to watch the rest of the show. I'll catch it this evening.
|
Jennifer On Oprah= No lip synching. :p
Why didn't she just let her sing back in December? :smirk: |

I love that song and can't wait to see it whenever it comes on again. |

I couldn't resist. It's been a few since you were on GC. |

Did anyone see the post-Oscar show yesterday?
Chris Rock and Fantaisa on tomorrow :D :D |

Chris' oldest daughter is a trip! At the end, she was such a DIVA! She will probably be in showbiz.
Fantasia: Her performance improved today. ON AI, she wanted to hop and jump. It seemed like she wanted to 'go there', but she did not. She refrained from doing so. I am glad. Fantasia and Michelle on B'way. Are they vying for a Tony? Would they be eligible? I doubt it. |
Town Hall Show: Responding to Imus Controversy
Pt2: Hip Hop Artists and Industry Representatives (Tuesday) |
Ladies, I hardly ever watch Oprah, but please give a moment to say this. Today, my sister called me over to her house and told me that she had something she wanted me to see. When I got there, she told me she had Tivo'd Oprah, and I was about to walk back out the door.
However, she convinced me to sit down and watch today's show about abusive relationships. She also forced her son to watch with us. On today's show there was a woman who was video taped by her children, while her husband beat her for 51 minutes. As I watched the show, my first thought was that this dude sounds so freakin' stupid, and he is calling her stupid repeatedly. The second thing I thought is, 'why did she stay?' As I continued to listen to her speak and watch the video, I have this overwhelming feeling of sorrow for her and her children. She has two sons and a daughter that watched this on a regular basis. My point ladies, is that although I am one man (who has never abused a woman in my life), but has done my fair share of dirt to women, I APOLOGIZE to any woman who has ever been verbally or physically abused at the hands of a man! I am sorry for whatever you had to endure, and I am sorry that someone made you feel as though you are an inferior creature, who just happened to give the greatest gift known to mankind--birth. Please know that I have always seen the value in a woman, but today my outlook has changed. Because as I look at my nephew (who's father is absent), I want to make sure that he does not ever become the man in the video. If you are a woman who is enduring or has endured this, please know that all men are not like this, and that there is a psychological problem with the abuser. May God always bless you and your family and give you the strength to get out and start over. With much love and respect: KAPPAtivating |
