It has been up and down all morning...they are having issues...But it will come and go...

I've been trying to get a new layout, and on the page where you can see the previews of the new ones, I really liked the layout called "Component", however when I go back to the page to select the layout I want, "Component" isn't an option there to pick :(

Do I need to have a paid account to use it?

I changed the style system to S2 & hit change, but Component still isn't on the Layout drop menu for whatever reason?

I am going to try emailing the support to see if maybe something is wrong?

Unfortunately, yes, the Component Layout is only for Paid Members. :(

k, cool! Yah, I don't have the comments on my journal. Basically I took them out cause I don't want to hold back in my entries. I'm one of those people that tries not to offend anyone, or not to upset anyone, but really I wanted to start a journal to get all my thoughts out. Taking away the comments just makes me feel more open for some reason. I don't want to hold things back just because I worry about what people are going to think. I feel like people who leave the comments in are pretty brave =)

I know what you mean. The way I have my LJ, anyone of my friends or registered users can post. If someone anonymous posts a comment, I screen it first.

I've had a bunch of flaming anon comments, but I really don't care. Instead of getting worked up about it...it's easier to hit delete.

I've only started using my filtered posts option recently, especially after that jerk Michael dumped me on my birthday. He and I are still civil, but I know that it's not really worth it for him to know how much I'm still bitter about it.

Mine is just friends only. I am all about having new friends and all, but I want to kinda know a bit about the person before I let them read my journal. Like, I wouldn't want some stranger in Timbuktu reading the journal I wrote about some tragic event happening to so-and-so. Does this make sense?
