And Cracka...you think I am an idiot? I have been called worse by better and face it.....I disagree with your assessment...

Until you can give me a sound rock solid reason why McCain needs to be here in DC and not ducking out Obama in something that McCain has wanted sooooo long...the only thing I can tell you is get over it and K.I.M.

Something to think about (totally out of left field mind you)

Could probably make a good ad

If McCain loses a home, how many more does he have to spare.....if Obama loses a home....is he homeless?

I don't understand how it's ducking, he has said he hopes they can get a bill passed and have it Friday (I would bet they'll have it whether a bill passes or not, possibly in DC and move another debate later or the VP debate to Ole Miss) or reschedule it.

And I don't understand the outrage over Senators being in Washington during a crisis. Yeah, ok, Democrats are saying its hurting and Republicans say its helping, did you really expect a different response given that it's an election year and McCain suggested it? Flip who suggested it and Democrats would be praising it while Republicans yelled "get out of town".

And Obama wouldn't be homeless, he could spend the night next door at his buddy Rezko's since Phil won't need the house while he's in jail ;)

ETA: And thanks PBear, I had looked at The Hill, but not Politico. Since they're apparently reporting opposite things, who knows what's going on.

LOL, I love it, an ebay seller with a sense of humor. This is my favorite part of his item description:

The good thing about this bucket is it probably won't biodegrade. That way you can save it for the next time we bail these guys out. Which, given that we did this back in the eighties, should be in the year 2028 or so. This time you can be prepared!

No international shipping. You folks will have to get your own financial market meltdown.

I love ebay sellers with a sense of humor too :) My older sis sent it as a forward from someone else today... good times

Since we are all going to be bailing out Wall Street, I figured we're going to need some buckets. And I don't know about you, but I'm not counting on the government to have them ready. I mean they seemed kind of surprised about this whole thing, and that's pretty lame.

I'm wondering how many nights Letterman will be bringing up the fact that McCain ditched him for apparently no reason. ;) He certainly doesn't seem less miffed in the show recorded today!
