I think I must have been in 8th grade. I remember looking at my parents college yearbooks (they both went to the same school I eventually went to) and looking at the sorority pictures. I just remembered that it looked like so much fun and I wanted that when I was in college. Didnt think about it again until I was a freshman commuter and having a miserable time that my dad suggested I rush to meet people. I guess it was only a natural step since I was a Girl Scout for 12 years!

Or, maybe you need to act like an educated person by punctuating and capitalizing correctly. You make yourself look like a retard with your preteen-type writing skills. Just a fucking thought...

oooh someone`s angry, LOL. insults and expletives flying everywhere.. you`re right, you "look" so intelligent and mature right now.

I vaguely remember wanting to wear letters, but not realizing they were Greek related when I was young, 10, 11? Didn't think about it again until I went to 2 COBs my second semester freshman year with a friend. It wasn't until the second that I actually started to consider it.

Tippiechick needs to calm down. Xanax, anyone? I generally have perfect grammar and punctuation, but when I'm doing a quick reply to an unimportant, just-for-fun thread on a website called greekchat.com, I don't worry about capitalizing. Chill out, please.

Random quick replies are one thing, but have you even bothered to read the troll's other posts?

#1 rule of GreekChat. You never, ever tell Tippie to "chill out".

Ripping of the new one in 5...4....3....2...

Ok. When you've been here actively POSTING for longer than, um five fucking minutes, MAYBE, just maybe I'll give a shit about you or whether this is a "fun" reply or a "serious" reply. Until then, put your big girl panties on and suck it up. You don't like it, there's an ignore button. But, you should know that already.

Oh, and using halfway proper grammatical styling and punctuating takes two fucking seconds.

Telling someone to fucking capitalize and punctuate is still more intelligent looking than someone typing like you.

omg i cannot even tell you how bad you hurt my feelings.. (Note only two periods as you did when trying to use an ellipsis.) what will i do with my wittle self now that you've "told" me off?

Oh, and by the way, insults and expletives fly constantly. Don't bother flattering yourself by thinking you've upset me. It takes a lot fucking more than the likes of you to get me going.

You're dismissed.

I <3 Tippiechick!
:p

I'm not afraid of Tippie. Seriously? Jesus, this is ridiculous. FYI- I've been reading and posting on GC since 2003 (not five minutes) with a different name. I'm going to go back to watching Keith Olbermann talk mad shit about McCain/Palin now.

Maaaaan! I wish I had 5 bucks for everytime someone said that.

Interesting use of the flounce, though.

tri deezy 09-24-2008 09:00 PM

Tippiechick insinuated that I'm a "newbie" and I'm not. I changed my user name because my old one gave away a lot about me. Just because a lot of people supposedly say it doesn't make it untrue.

The flounce is my favorite part. But it was a false flounce this time. :(

Or was it a "faux flounce"? :D

agzg 09-24-2008 09:08 PM

Faux flounce. I like that. Kinda like faux fur. It's the humane way to punk out.
