Technical issues? Are you referring to the issue of exclusiveness? If so, isn't it the same for Delta Sigma Theta?

Yeah, what Soror mccoyred said.

The NPHC fraternities also practice exclusiveness.
Barack Obama being an honorary member of Alpha Nu Omega at Upper Iowa University may not be an issue because that is not a "real" nationally established fraternity. Also, Jesse Jackson, Sr. is a member of Omega Psi Phi and an honorary member of Alpha Nu Omega at Upper Iowa University, so it maybe is not a factor in the case of this local fraternity.

Really, you mean...NPHC frats practice exclusivity...too?!?!?!?!?! Who woulda thunk it?! ;)
I'm just finding humor in the fact that people care about the topic of honorary membership for Michelle and Barack Obama. Michelle's not even inducted yet, if ever. Barack hasn't even been OFFERED as far as the public knows and people are theorizing on which frat would extend an offer to him. If any. Geesh. :)
I kind of wonder if either has done half as much as the accomplished and contributory people whose honorary membership has flown under the radar. I get the black Presidential candidate hype but I guess the hype doesn't carry over to their potential membership in NPHC orgs for me.
